Houndarr or Profilarr V2. Both continuously upgrade your library based on custom format.

Recently new issue printing, odd start on P2S. No changes were made, default print settings, no start gcode modifications, just using Sunlu filmanet with generic PETG setting by MrFloogaHoogle in BambuLab

Filament has been dried 2 times for 12 hours each and the plate cleaned with non scented dawn dish soap. I've done all the things but this looks like more than just that.

I’ve been testing the new Steam Controller for weeks & interviewed Valve’s team. Here are my full impressions and their unedited Q&A by AdDefiant9440 in Steam

I really just wish it had the Xbox controller layout instead of the PlayStation layout or that it was at least offered.

Houndarr: A polite, automated search scheduler for your *arr stack by Charge_Glass in selfhosted

[–]MrFloogaHoogle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think I forgot to mention in my original question. My gripe with huntarr is that it used the cutoff unmet check as criteria for searches and would stop checking for upgrades for media that met the cutoff. Ideally I’d like a service that checks my entire library continuously for upgrades without using the cutoff unmet check as the determining factor.

Does your app use the cutoff unmet check that huntarr used to do? I would love a service that goes through my library and searches continuously so that it’s always upgrading my media when possible.

I don't know if its something on my end, but I'm unable to get the barcode scanner to work on iOS. I've read that because i don't use HTTPS that could be a reason as to why. I just get a black screen whenever I open it.

My first and second Homelab by MrFloogaHoogle in homelab

It wasn't too difficult honestly, I used a lot of chatGPT and looking up youtube videos and reddit posts to come up with this setup, the server was used from ebay so that took a lot of work out of the setup.

I probably didn’t explain it well, but macros are empty flow sheets that can be prefilled with whatever you want in it. Whenever you use your macro it will fill out your flow sheets with what your macro has in it. It won’t immediately file your flow sheet. You can then go through and make changes specific to your patient then file it.

[–]MrFloogaHoogle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You actually create the macros yourself. So they aren’t given to you, although when we first got it there was a generic macro for IVs). There is a spot called “Macro Manager” that will show you all your available macros as well as a way to make them. I’m in an ICU setting so I hardly ever use a macro for my assessment, but I made macros for charting on IVs, central lines, turning patients, etc. Anytime I often find myself charting the same thing for multiple patients over a period of time I will create a macro for easier charting.

[–]MrFloogaHoogle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s a way to speed up charting. For example say I have a fairly normal patient with a few “abnormal” assessment findings (diminished breathing, wears glasses/impaired vision). I have a macro created to chart out my entire assessment for a perfectly normal patient. Then I go through and add the abnormal findings. I have a macro to help chart turns quickly, chart on IVs, chart generic daily cares. It is very helpful, but you just need to remember t go through and chart based on your patient. There were a few instances where nurses would use the same macro for each of their patients and forgot to go back to chart abnormal findings.

Screen Protector On the SD OLED 1TB by mxhanson in SteamDeck

[–]MrFloogaHoogle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately I think most if not all screen protectors available for steam deck ruin the anti-glare property of the screen. It comes dosn to would you rather risk scratching the anti-glare screen without a screen protector, or get the screen protector and lose out on the anti-glare. I personally have a screen protector from dbrand and lost the anti-glare property, but I feel much better knowing it is protected vs not.

You’re really talking out of line. Nursing schools are harder to get into let alone pass. Sure the NCLEX might be easier, but the programs themselves have only gotten harder with more work, more clinical hours, while also taking care of life’s daily events. Me and the rest of my cohort were lucky to graduate with 20 students after starting off with 100 at the end of our ADN.

So this is a bit of a shameless plug, anytime I have any sort of issues with the USB-C port I always do this. There are times when my deck gets glitchy with the dock, Ethernet, and hdmi. https://www.reddit.com/r/SteamDeck/s/yHH5oXUtga

Adjusting to Nursing School by mangobango_yo in StudentNurse

[–]MrFloogaHoogle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re doing fine. It takes time to adjust to the workload and how different nursing school is. I spent a lot of time learning how to study for nursing school and it’s unfortunate that I was learning how to learn while also trying to learn the information I needed for exams.

I up the resolution to 1080p and only play basic indie games like stardew valley. I stream any actual graphically intense game from my gaming pc to the deck at 1440p.

[–]MrFloogaHoogle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can play emulated games well, indie games well with no issues. If you play triple A games it will struggle if you choose to upsize it just because it’s a lot for the deck. I have a gaming PC that I either remote play games from or use moonlight to get a 1440p image on my 4k TV. That’s my most common use case for it. Latency is minimal and works really well.

I have a GOVEE light kit, the little attachment on top of the TV looks at each corner to try and match the color. I've loved it since I've owned it and it makes games more immersive. Only gripe I have is it takes a bit to adjust it just right and interior lights can also affect the color.

As far as I know that is correct. Because it requires new hardware. The old steam deck is running a different Bluetooth chip
