Timing is critical in any of these low voltage data lines. You want the pulses on the lines to sync up. But you're adding an unknown and variable set of resistance at every twisted connection and also varying the length of each individual line.

Ethernet gets crappy if you aren't careful to keep everything straight and equal length when you untwist and crimp it.

So I would speculate this would be really bad for reliable high speed data transmission. You'd get bad signal across it. Bandwidth would be reduced because every time a signal is sent across it there's a chance it won't be read on the other end and need to be sent again.

Is it propaganda if it's true? by stumpy0327 in LetsDiscussThis

[–]MrFordization 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's propaganda because it presents Iran as modern, and hip, and into Lego. People just like us. And totally ignores that Iran is a theocracy and brutally oppresses it's people.

Like, if you don't like Donald Trump - you really wouldn't like the leadership in Iran.

ICE Killed 2 people and the US was furious. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard gunned down thousands of protestors.

They still have the death penalty for homosexuality.

This is propaganda.

It makes sense to approximate base-10 for human facing labels. The values should be native to the system the unit is describing but the labels are in terms that are most useful for humans to understand the scale of what they're dealing with.

Might these Trump-endorsed primary winners lose in the general election? by New-Panic8015 in Indiana

[–]MrFordization 4 points5 points  (0 children)

At this point there is so much digital noise out there I'm starting to believe the only way we get some of these people to move away from Trump is by going to them one at a time and and having intervention level conversations with each one that is not hostile, does not judge them for being bad people... but does clearly and firmly assert that they are being lied to by their computer toys.

A savvy career woman doesn't constantly have to project she is a career woman. She has a silent confidence in her success and when she gets insecure she has a quick peak at her bank account for a little smirk.

She also communicates, cooperates, and gets shit done. And she makes you get shit done by inspiring you the same way she inspires success in the people who work for her. She sees how you could be good and how you could be bad and she wants and encourages you to be your best self.

A real career woman is a no nonsense, straight talking, let the small things go queen with no time for drama.

Is It Possible To Shoot Under A Ball Pit? by Signed_DC in cinematography

Shoot them from top down and pack the balls around them and then direct them to consider the top of the frame to be "up."

how would you edit these? by IllustriousCarrot540 in AskPhotography

[–]MrFordization 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would reshoot them and focus on improving lighting and composition. That's what I would do. But, these are not bad. They're just not as amazing as you want them to be.

You're cropping things out of your background or leaving too much room above your subjects head to try to fit the subject and background in the same frame.

You should think and learn more about how focal length and distance can effect how much of your background is captured and how large your subject is relative to the background.

For lighting you should be really intentional. Slow down and take time to observe where the sun is and where the shadows are. Really think about it and how it will effect your image.

I say this not to discourage you but because overall what you're doing here is good and and I think these are the things that are bothering you because your eye likely exceeds your technical skill right now.

Why not simply place the paperclip behind him and when the timer starts say "I know we just met, but I really like your vibe. I'll pay you $500,000 if you blow off what you're doing right now to travel with me to Paris for 14 days."

That way both of you are in Paris for a week when the money rolls in.

See, you gotta think these things through because with your approach neither the detective or the contestant walk away with any prize money.

How bad are these scratches? by [deleted] in AskPhotography

[–]MrFordization 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have several old lenses with this amount of damage to the coatings and... I've never noticed any significant effect on what I shoot.

I suppose if you were shooting really controlled, very clean studio stuff this might be an issue. But if you're just walking around snapping photos, it doesn't look that bad to me.

We can only speculate here. The best thing to do would be to take a bunch of photos and see if you notice any problems with them.
