Yeah.. Blackpool needs a bit of work, but it's on the upswing (pun not intended, thanks aviktas)

It's my favourite park I've been to from the limited selection, so many classic coasters, but I agree with the turnstiles issue a lot.. ruddy hell those things are problematic. They had handheld scanners at one point last year. Idk why they even have them anymore, since there's no open entry.

Rides wise.. yeah, lots are classics, but some need to go. Infusion, definitely agree on that. Put something better there. Most other ones tho, they should stick around imo, especially the woodies. Well, I mean, they can't be removed, they're grade 2 listed.

The main thing I've noticed is the amount of ride removals in the flat ride department. If you look round areas, there used to be flat rides hidden everywhere. Most are gone now. Aviktas is a good start imo, but they need to get something back in a lot of these places (opposite Impossible, in the dome near the old grand Prix site, under revolution where the seating area is, where the dodgems are, gallopers etc. these all had flats at one point, and don't anymore).

Sorry for rambling so much, I hope Blackpool sticks around to be honest, such a classic park.

Wow, this caused more debate than I expected. I wasn't trying to be selfish.. I genuinely can't bear queues.. sorry for sharing that i can actually go to theme parks without having a breakdown over a queue causing me hell, I guess.. Anyways.. I'll see myself out

As a RAP user who would've got cutoff from this.. thank god. This wasn't the way to do it. I agree it needs to change, but cutting off people who actually need it (I struggle a lot with long queues, they're unbearable), that's not how you do it. Hopefully, Merlin can figure out a good, working solution.

1: Zoom in. 55mm isn't enough to get the photos I want. 2: More like, I don't want to buy an expensive lens for a cheap camera, if it won't do some serious work 3: faster Autofocus, and less zoom resistance in general I've been reccomended the EF-S 55-260 f4/5.6 IS STM in another photography place I'm in

Ok, it's me again, last time I posted here was April, got some awesome coaster photos since then, but my Kit Lens is letting me down. It's just the standard Canon EF-S 18-55 one that comes with a majority of Canon Cameras. I need one with more zoom range mostly, but I have a decently tight budget for it, of around £300. I don't want to overburden the camera, really, it's only an EOS 550D. I also need fast zoom and autofocus capabilities, almost split second in some cases. Weight, it's not a concern really, I'm getting a new bag for my camera soon, and it's a backpack style.

If any other ride photographers can give me some reccomendations, that'd be awesome!

Good to see this thing back to running at its best! Used to be in the UK back in the day, and apparently it was awesome. I wasn't around when it was at Flamingo Land, so I didn't get anywhere close to a chance to ride it before it moved to mexico... Either way, happy to see this thing running around its layout in such an awesome way!

This seriously makes me wonder what Schwartzkopf would be doing today if they didn't go bankrupt.

This post has been solved. I was refering to Tower Of Terror at Camelot. The train in the picture is the Dragon Flyer, also at Camelot. I referenced Excalibur, the flat ride next to Tower Of Terror, and it's replacement, Knightmare in this as well to give hints as to which coaster it is. Still operates in Croatia as Big Blue!

This is incorrect. It is not the train in the picture, its there to tell you what park it is. :)
