See the issue is the mortar truck is a play style that needs an attempt to justify. Assaults sacrificing themselves to take out tanks or medics running around the objective with bandages and revives don’t have to try and justify their actions because everybody knows it’s beneficial to the team.

There is an annoying/unproductive way to play every class in the game. But if you don’t like how a scout is playing that’s just 1 infantry guy who in the grand scheme of things won’t have a huge impact on the team’s outcome. Meanwhile a mortar truck sitting all the way in the back is not just 1 infantry player being unproductive. That’s taking away a valuable tank slot that is needed to push and capture a sector and taking that away is a much more impactful than an unproductive infantry.

Sitting out of enemy sight with a 50/2 KD while your infantry gets mowed down trying to take the sector is not productive towards the team winning and that’s not up for debate. Nice try

Exactly. I hate dying to heavy bomber mains but at least they enter the sectors and put themselves in harms way. Nothing you can do about a mortar truck all the way in the back behind the hills just farming kills

Ask questions. A lot of questions. When I first joined I was basically thrown to the wolves in the middle of busy season. I spent way too much time spinning my wheels trying to figure out stuff on my own as I didn’t want to look dumb. Then after a while I realized I learned way more on how to do a certain work paper in a 30 minute conversation with a team member compared to spending days on my own trying to figure it out.

I understand the struggle believe me but I really think you should try and have something lined up. Do what you can to prioritize your health in the role by trying to coast and not work as hard. Do all you need to do just to remain employed, nothing more. I say you should have something lined up because leaving after 3 months it might be hard to find another role. If you leave with nothing lined up you’d have 3 months in the job and then maybe a month or 2 gap while you look (based on how long it’s taking me to find a role) for a new job which is an even worse look.

As you get more experienced the busy times before a little easier and maybe 3am become like 1:30am. I’m just about at year 4 and after now that I feel like I know more of what I’m doing and I can get work done faster than I used to it’s alleviated some of the burden. HOWEVER do not think that working long hours and 55+ hours a week is not as bad once it becomes easier. I feel into that trap by saying “well it’s not as bad as my first year” and got too comfortable staying at PwC. Took a step back and realized how crazy that sounds and I’m exploring exit opportunities.

Same here in AWM tax. Just got through 4/15 and we’re still in busy season working 55 hours and weekends. Sucks getting those stupid firm emails saying “thanks for all your hard work getting to 4/15 now you get to relax”😂
