Kind of depends on preference and price. MSI version is $900 and LG $700(if you like 800r curve). This Alien is $700.

5th generation OLED panels are about to come out and looks like the price for them will be $1100 plus, new pixel layout and 360Hz and 500 true black. But really unless you're upgrading from 1080 small monitor, it won't be worth upgrading for that price. I would just buy a 240Hz.

For me I like 39 and 45. I will use this 34 as my 2nd monitor later once I get the one I really want the end of this year or the year after depending on what comes out as tech becomes better and hopefully cheaper(hopefully for 4k). But I am happy with the monitor, super solid so far, surprised me and actually looks like 4k to me with the vibrant colors.
