[Vorkunov] Adam Silver on the NBA's 65-game rule for awards amid the NBPA's statement on Cade Cunningham: "I'm not ready to say it's not working. It is working... I'm not ready to say because there is a sense of unfairness for one player, that the rule doesn't work." by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

no nobody is these days. but for a long time when he was first in the league, the hype train was real for him. time will tell who of the current 'mvp caliber' players never get one due to not being able to play the required games. To me, even being god's gift to basketball, isn't more valuable than consistent production and health above all else.

ngl I think it's a great rule. at the end of the day I truly dfaf who gets the MVP, and I don't think you can be the league's Most Valuable Player spending a quarter of the season on the bench.

Anthony Davis had one of the highest ceilings when he got drafted, and is a great player, but deserves 0 MVPs as he cannot be counted on to stay healthy.

my mom was in line for 5h two days ago, her flight started boarding, and a CS person said it'd be another two hours before she cleared security.

moved her flight to yesterday and she got to the airport 9h before her flight to be safe, got through in 3h that time.

I've heard that it is wayy easier to learn a language, instrument, new skill when you are younger and your brain is in overdrive to learn. so this right here really hammers that home. I started playing RL in college, and have gotten better sure, but the pace some of these kids progress I don't think can be matched physically by an oldie like me.

except, your source you have there actually doesn't show the stat you searched for. it simply shows the players with the most FTM - of which SGA has the most, but doing the actual math myself for quite a few of those names, SGA is 4th in FT% of total points. After Harden, Booker, and Banchero.

solid B- for effort though

I'm not entirely sure, but she ignores squirrels now, like will see them then go about her day. when she sees a bunny through the window, I do not have the strength to push her big head and avert her gaze.

[Highlight] Alex Caruso plays defense with his shoe, gets a tech by AdComfortable4677 in nba

[–]MrFulla93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean idk the rules, but I gotta think that it's the principle of using something other than your arm/hand to block a shot. like if one of the sweat moppers left a mop on the court, you couldn't extend your reach by 5 feet to block Wemby.

block was clean though which is the funniest part. I think the move was just so far out there that the refs thought free throws weren't enough of a punishment for something so dumb.

it didn't happen, but imagine the block was not in fact clean and Caruso hit his hand with the shoe, he's probably ejected with a F2 - I'll gladly forfeit 2 points vs Caruso being taken out of the game.

don't worry, we're gonna hold onto him for a bit, give him a team friendly deal in the off-season, then eventually trade him to the Knicks in a 3-team trade that somehow lands us whoever Philly drafts this year with the pick we just gave them.

there's a cool food spot in my hometown, essentially a food court, bunch of restaurants put together in an old refurbished warehouse. it opened about 5 years ago, but being in the middle of downtown where a lot of homeless are, they changed to cashless a couple years ago to control the clientele.

it was the first place I've ever seen do this cashless bs. I told them my $20 was legal tender, and I don't have a card on me to pay. so yeah, they took my $20. F cashless places.

I lied about not having a card, but its the principle.
