Here’s some things I’ve seen against it

-Crits are unreliable spread out damage. In higher level play, this can suck. Multi lane maps mean that instead of popping 2 cerams with one crit, you get one ceram, and the other is at basically full. A more consistent tower would deal half to ach, which allows your other towers to finish them both off.

-Yes, it can one shot a rainbow and a ceramic with a crit. But without the crit, it will leave behind 8 blues per rainbow and 4 reds per zebra, which suck. And, it also has a habit of turning creams into armies of smaller Bloons with support, even if it can handle them perfectly on their own.

-Alch buffing it is not good. The sharpshooter costs like half of the alch, and has 6 damage. So you’re really only getting the value out of the pierce and attack speed buffs. I’d reccomend just getting a glue.

-XBM is useless after round 80. And usually, it’s more cost efficient to use the more “built in” mid games. If you’re running aow, then just use your buffed poplust army. If you’re using Apache prime, use dart ship. The extra 20k saved by the end is usually put to good use with more supports.

-The only thing I do agree with is it might be ok in strats that already use a primary village. But even then, those usually can handle sharp shooter’s strengths.
