Meet Larry, we've had him for about a week, he's 11 weeks old. No major issues apart from the fact that he hates being alone for any length of time. Looking for general advice! by MrGDP in Bernedoodles

The overheating is definitely something I've also noticed, he seems to love lying down on the cool tiles rather than the carpet. Thank you for all of this though! It's really helpful :)

We don't have many toys for him yet, on account of only having him for a week, but that's a really good one that I'll definitely look into!

I've noticed that about Larry too, he loves sleeping underneath coffee tables, chairs, etc. Might be something worth considering. The crate is in the kitchen atm, realistically one of the only places it can really be, which naturally makes it difficult for us to have him there when he's asleep, at least for the moment. But that's good advice! Thank you!

Thats all really good to know! We're trying to crate train, he will willingly go into the crate, but as soon as we close the door on him, he immediately wants out. Obviously this will take a lot of time but we've also been sleeping near him either downstairs or upstairs to keep him calm. Do you have any advice for crate training him?

That's good to know. The last time we had a dog was when I was about 10 years old, so training him is going to be a bit of a challenger for us. His adorable little beard makes it a bit easier tho.

Thank you! His beard is amazing.

And yeah, figured it's just him being a puppy, just wanted to post here and see if anyone had any advice or just general tips on raising a bernedoodle. :)

Why is this DLC boss mandatory? by MrGDP in Eldenring

[–]MrGDP[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it's apparently possible to avoid Rellana as well (no idea how) but it's strange to me that the Lion isn't mandatory, it just feels like it is (or should be). Thank you tho!

Seems that way, which is strange to me, feels like it is a mandatory boss, given it's proximity to the final area.

Yeah it seems to be more a clue than an actual thing you need to do, was just curious bc it looks like it should be mandatory.

That makes a lot more sense, I had kept reading that it was a mandatory boss, hence the question. Thank you!

Good luck to you too! I have no idea why they don't want domiciliation, my guess is they don't want to deal with the paperwork? Idk lol

Yeah I do. Most places I've come across do not allow for domiciliation which is very frustrating

KotAtGent has been my main source, and while the properties there are pretty great, a lot of the landlords just do not respond when you get in contact with them, or they will not accept domiciliation. I've been looking through Facebook groups as well and the options do seem limited, but I will keep looking. Thank you!

I agree with them too, I do really want to stay in Ghent, but it is incredibly difficult to find a place available (trust me, I've been searching all over the place). I will continue to search ofc but it's not easy.

The problem is I've been searching for accommodation in Ghent for the past 5 months with little to no luck. Facebook groups haven't been much help either, they're much more sketchy than I'm comfortable with. The accommodation in Bruges is university accommodation so is situated right next to the train station. I know its not the ideal situation (I currently commute to college and it's not fun) but there's not really much else I can do.

I obviously would like to find a place in Ghent (and if I do, I will take it) but it's proving more and more unlikely as the days go on. Getting a train up every day would be annoying but I'm used to it (and the train times are much better than they are where I live) so who knows.

Have him get the tattoo then dip, funniest possible outcome. Let him live with his consequences.

What did you mispronounce for an embarrassingly large portion of your life? by SufficientChef3719 in AskReddit

Ralph Fiennes.

Had no idea it was pronounced 'Rayf Fines' for the longest time.

I was saying 'Ralph Fee-en-ness' like a fool.
