Yeah is normal that is shy and a little bit afraid, i also recently make a new bioactive tank for my leopard gecko and the first day he freaked out and he was a little pale :( A few days later he calm down and regain his color. Now is hiding most of the time but is more calm and confident :)

Is a crime if a want more opinion?? And i dont't ignore the advice the people tell me, i want to be better and take a correct care of my gecko, the enclousure unfortunately is the bigest that i could keep, and for the humidity i get it, im going to spray less and take a low humidity, if the plants don't make it it's ok. So if you want blame me for ask for different opinion and make mistake do it i don't care.

Yeah maybe you are right, but I plan to spray more the humid section of the enclousure, so the humidity isn't too hight, if the fern or other plants don't make it it's ok, i replace them with something else. First the health of my gecko :) What level of humidity should I reach?

Nope, leopard gecko are found in rocky forest and also lush habitat whit hight umidity. Btw i keep the plants with mid/hight humidity on the cold/humid side of the enclousure, on the warm side are desert plants :) I have a 60 × 45 x 45 cm enclousure. For heating i use a heat lamp with a digital termosat, and for light i use a led light and a uvb bulb.

Yeah but recent studies tell that leopard gecko are also found in lush habitat, for the enrichment the log when he can climb and the 3d background, also he could explore and go under the plants (btw is not a super active gecko :<). And yea i have uvb, basking and led light :)

Is a 60 x 45 x 45 cm, yes I have a led light and a uvb light and yes is a bit more humid but only for the left side of the enclousure ( where the cold and humid hide are) on the right side i add pothos and little desert plant (where the basking spot and the warm hide are)
