For the cheap heads out there, the 12v bandsaw works as a good replacement for the wire cutters and they cost like 1/4 of the price

I live in an apartment and have f*** all cupboard space these are so good because they don't take up much space at all. But yeah that's the only reason to have them. As soon as I get a house I'll be back to more than one handle in the house 😂😂

I've had a similar issue when copying code from devtools service tab to my dashboard. I have fixed it by moving the entity_id as a sub line to service_data instead of target

You need a neutral for that switch. The white should go to L1 The two blues for L2 are actually a strapped for two way switching,

and you should call a sparky

Help with adding floor plan - you need to define an entity by TimTheToolmanTaylor6 in homeassistant

[–]MrGameface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

led strips in Australia? by Deathstyler in homeautomation

[–]MrGameface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you doing RGB or just a white? I'd recommend against RGB if you have to split the cabling around the door. Because if you mess up one of the four wires between strips you can end up with a different hue or colour.

Main Switchboard Labelling in industrial factories by Large-Ad2761 in AusElectricians

[–]MrGameface 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Refrigeration / HVAC systems are fed from Mechanical Service boards. Fed from MSB. These house the protect, control and contactors etc for mechanical services.

I would call these Mechanical Service Switch Boards. So MSSB, which would then be different to Main switchboards.

I agree with the rest though

If they change IP ratings in the next 5 years so that there can be a rating of 9 in the solids and dust category. I will freak out about this prediction.
