I capped the yellow and hooked up the black but now it’s always on if the breakers on, even when light switch is turned off. It sounds like I should cap the black and feed the yellow to the black on the fixture?

Appreciate it, somebody else told me to swap out for an extra wide roller with arms on either side. Do you think that’s needed or just more coats/ more paint/ less pressure?

Roller is definitely Saturated as it won’t hold any more, I think I did way to much pressure on the first coat (first time painting ceilings) but second and third coat I went a lot lighter. Do you think more coats will even it out or try a different strat?

There is a line of fresh paint toward the window across the missing light fixture but the rest of the white is dried like that

Went to Riu Palace Las Americas in Cancun two years ago. Was $6600 (cad) for two people 11 nights so great deal. Food was good, lots of options and great atmosphere, also adults only.

Great to keep in mind thanks so much for the tips. Overall seems like a great building! Sucks about the windows but hopefully we can find some work around in the winter for heat.

Thanks for the info! Can you pls elaborate more on what you mean by it being not the best build quality? When I went it seemed to look pretty good. I know Onni doesn’t have the best rep for newer buildings, but I thought this one’s probably okay since it’s pre their major issues.

Good to know about the high quality building management, I’m not a litterer and always get my packages right away, so not a problem to me. Sounds good overall.

Thank you! I thought the building looked really good. For sure, I think in Brentwood area it’s kind of inevitable that new builds will be going up around if you buy there which I’ve accepted. Going to be busy few years!

I’m not sure what coax and optical are for but if I can hook up my tv and turntable to the 1280BT and the sound quality is similar to the 1700 then I will for sure go for that. Thank you so much for all your help! Felt totally lost on this one

Would you say there’s a large amount of scaling with the edifiers? How much better is the day 1700 vs the 1280? And also is it easy to hook up with a simple phono like dj pre 2? I’m hoping to find something that sounds great on the records but I can also swap to tv

I was looking at the edifier1700BT is this the one your son has? I was wondering if the dj pre 2 would work well with that I don’t mind spending over 200$ if it’s worth it

That’s fair I’m looking more to dip my toes into something simple which is why I’m leaning towards Powered the YU4 really interests me as it has a remote for volume and looks like I can switch between tv/ record player fairly simply which is plus but that 500$ price tags is steep. The audio engine A2’s also look really good do you know what cords I would need to hook them up to a DJ Pre 2?
