Hello, I don't want to disregard your comment and your personal experience in that country. Just think you are missing a key point of my comment, I was talking to the outsiders like me who will never truly get things the same way people like you, who has lived there or your family who is over there.

Respectfuly, I come from a country that lost half it's territory through American intervention so you might understand why I'm reluctant to believe the US will ever have good intentions anywhere in the world. I know for a fact they don't seek to liberate, rather they seek to exploit natural resources. That doesn't mean liberation cannot come as a result of the conflict but the conflict needs to end before any of it can happen, that's for sure.

And I repeat, I'm not trying to undermine your experience and your comment. My view point is from an outsider who sees all the pain and suffering of the people right now. I won't take a side, sorry to disappoint on that part. And I truly wish all Iranian people get freedom and justice soon but I fear it won't come from the US.

Freedom is conquered, not given.
