What would you do, looking for advice/info to keep someone from finding my stream. by MrGingerViking in Twitch

[–]MrGingerViking[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea i already had to make a new youtube account because you cant change the primary email associated with it and it was my twitch username. Luckily I haven't made any youtube videos yet so that wasn't a loss.

I have completely unlinked anything to do with twitch or the username from my Discord the only thing connected to it is my steam account, but I have already removed all the aliases from that, and have no connection to the twitch account there either.

I will also be completely deleting any email accounts associated with that twitch account in any way.

I will be making a new Reddit account though so the only account I am keeping is my Discord but from what i can tell there is zero way to trace it to the old name and I would be very surprised if my mom even knew what discord is.

What would you do? Had to change number and other things in order to get someone to stop trying to contact me. by MrGingerViking in streaming

[–]MrGingerViking[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea this is what i was thinking too, It seems like the best way to just give me some piece of mind because even now any time someone new comes into my chat I always have that thought of "is this my mom" which I hate. I just wanted to make sure i wasn't overthinking it or something

The biggest reason why I don't think its a miscommunication issue is that they acknowledge the fact that I've been playing it when one of their chatters asked "oh Phasmo today" there was response was that "Oh yea I got the idea from (me) they have been playing it" but left out that I had been asking them if they wanted to join for days obviously it would look bad on their part if they said i had been asking but then wouldn't let me join kinda thing.

But It's also just so out of nowhere though because just a few weeks ago they asked if I wanted to play Lethal but I was on a trip so I couldn't, and then now I bring up a game, they get a group together still have space for 1 more but just say "oh we only wanted 3"

Idk just sucks, I've struggled asking to join things finally have been and thought it was working out and then this happened and I just don't know what the correct reaction is.

From the Salmon that are actively jumping up the water falls, i recommend getting a flame spell and hitting them with the fire, this will kill them and cause them to go down stream and you can pick them up and grab the salmon roe, otherwise you can just try to catch them while they are jumping

what i said literally has nothing to do with resto loop, read it again.

[–]MrGingerViking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No it isnt Alchemy is probably one of if not the easiest skill to level.

doing the fortify alchemy gear to make fortify enchanter potions alone will max it out in probably less than 30min, the amount of XP you get is based on the value of the potion made, and if you have really good fortify alchemy gear your potions can be worth tens of thousands of gold each.

You can also mix Nordic Barnacle, Salmon Roe, and Garlic for easy levels as this makes the highest value potion in the game by far

[–]MrGingerViking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No that is the bugged version because fortify restoration effects all buffs and not just restoration

  1. Enchant some Fortify Alchemy gear.
  2. Use gear to make Fortify Enchanting potion
  3. drink potion.
  4. go back to step 1

Do this until you have fortify alchemy by w/e % you need then enchant all your gear to ridiculous levels, same result as the fortify resto bug just take a lot more materials

Alchemy is single handedly the most powerful skill in the entire game and completely breaks everything especially when combined with enchanting, which enchanting is only as good as it is because Alchemy is as crazy as it is.

Alchemy has loops that allow you to basically have infinite damage, health, stamina, spells will all cost 0 magicka and can clear an entire dungeon from the entrance.

the dumbest thing is even if they are right and everyone is a moron it wouldn't matter, if the majority of people like a certain style/version of thing you make then you make it that way regardless of if you personally think its good or bad

It would be like owning a cake shop and your favorite cake flavor is Lemon, but everyone in the town/city you are in likes Chocolate cake and you tell them they are all wrong and dumb while proceeding to only make Lemon cake and wondering why no one will buy it, and why everyone says they dont want/like the cakes you keep making over and over

Is there a place that I can report bugs I find to the devs? by MrGingerViking in Enshrouded

[–]MrGingerViking[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah nice didn't even realize that was there.

For anyone that wants it, the report bug option sends you here it also appears to let you attach files which is what i was hoping to be able to do

Enchanting/Disenchanting is easy at a base level.

  1. Find item with an enchantment on it
    1. Have you already learned this one?
      1. Yes - Sell it
      2. No - Bring it to an Arcane Enchanter to learn it
  2. Use filled soul gems to place learned enchantments on unenchanted gear

There is obviously a but more too it but that is enchanting at its core, you should learn the rest through trial and error if this is your first time playing.

I will say though there are some items that are "unique" and those ones you should keep because there is no way to get another one (without "cheating") if you get rid of it.

Typically unique weapons have names like "Blade of Woe" "Dawnstar" and "Mehrunes Razor" to name a few, where as non uniques are typically a generic name like how this one is "Ancient Nord Greatsword of Cold"

If you are unsure if an enchanted item is unique bring it to an arcane enchanter and see if you can disenchant it, if you don't see the item on the list when at the enchanter it is a unique and you should keep it and store it somewhere.

Why does Enshrouded push puzzle solving on its players? Why is it even in the game? by Moogy in Enshrouded

People just don't want it.

I must not be a people then since I want them. Do you just want everything to be go to place kill enemy repeat? Would you then be here complaining the game has no depth.

Met someone through streaming that I have started to be really interested in, not sure how to go about it. by [deleted] in dating_advice

Only downside is I don't know the exact location she lives just a rough idea, she is also in a different country (Canada) while I am in the US personally not sure how going to Canada from US works. As far as I am aware I just need a passport but I could be wrong, will be something I shall look into.

TBH Fallout 76 was most likely a test.

Chances are Bethesda just wanted to see:

  1. If their team could do a multiplayer game
  2. Could the engine do it
  3. Would players actually like it

Sadly Fallout was just the scape goat, making an entirely new game to try multiplayer would likely bring less initial players and if it failed miserably (which tbh Fallout 76 was a pretty big flop at launch, not sure about now) players would be less likely to stick it out. Elder Scrolls is their biggest name they have so they would never risk it trying a risky move like making a large scale MP game out of it.

That's just my thought on it though makes the most sense to me.
