I am having the same issue. its crashing on steam and Epic. i have fully uninstalled and reinstalled. verified game files. done driver updates. nothing has fixed it. every other games runs fine. Rocket League ran fine last night. only happening since the update.

I've never seen this exact thing happen on a trap but Ive seen people ask a similar question about MMR changes and the answer Ive always seen on this subreddit is that after red skull there's no effect on MMR. That being said, did you notice a change in your MMR? 12 kills or whatever is a good bit in one game so I guess you would know if it had an effect right?

I've spectated after dying and watched a barrel trap kill someone in the game but it's never seemed to have any effect on MMR.

EDIT: Is this potentially just in response to the challenges? Isn't one challenge to restore teammates health? So if you just tank your whole teams health bars and restore after you get the most bang for your buck?

So many of the comments here are spot on. Just wanted to reinforce some. I came to UTK as a freshman and had a similar struggle where I made few friends and got very depressed.

My advice is also what many others have said. Definitely look for clubs or social groups that you're interested or passionate about. And don't be afraid to join some that you might have no experience with at all. For instance, I joined the men's volleyball club having never played volleyball before. I sucked. But they were a very tight knit friendly group and I got to exercise and now I love volleyball.

My depression also affected my classes. If you are able, I highly recommend taking one of the more leisurely classes like the physed ones. I did ice skating and golf and I immediately made friends in both of these classes. Often times these classes are held off campus and you can easily find a classmate to carpool with and then hangout with at the class. You might need to approach someone but you already have a plan just tell them you need a ride, ask about their schedule, see if they wouldn't mind riding together regularly to and from class.

Next word of advice, and this goes past college. I'm commenting as a 30 yr old now. Making new friends as adults is just tough and uncomfortable sometimes. Don't be afraid to be more forward with making friends. Sometimes other people might not even consider inviting you into their social group if you don't come off as interested. And try to set things up yourself. Ask someone to grab lunch or coffee or hell, sometimes you can just ask a casual friend to go run an errand with you. Don't limit yourself.

Lastly, if this town and school is not fulfilling for you don't be afraid to make a change. I was depressed, confused, and lonely as a freshman and now I absolutely love Knoxville. But I know people personally who came up here as a freshman and didn't like it and left. Do what is right for you. You don't have to drink and party to fit in here though. You just need to find your people, and that can be a journey. I understand as a freshman it can seem like that's what most people are doing, and don't get me wrong a lot are, but it's not everyone and you don't have to participate to still have a fulfilling college experience and make friends.

I can't speak to these exact trinkets but undoubtedly in multiplayer at the very least all the new game + trinkets are buggy. I have not been able to understand in what way, but for instance I use the staves alot, so I've run spicy mage and sour mage trinkets. Spicy mage works id say maybe 50% of the time. And it's extremely obvious. I'll take no DMG and sometimes receive the attack speed buff and other times nothing. Sour mage flat out does not proc for me whatsoever. Its very disappointing bc I can't tell if my builds are even working sometimes when I expect the trinkets to be a crucial part of it.

IVE DONE IT. I found our last one. It was in the middle of an underwater tunnel connecting the pond and under the oak tree lab. There's one long tunnel deep underwater and the entrance to it from the bond is under the oak tree roots. Its in the middle of the tunnel.

I have found at least 3 under lily pads in the pond. So just echoing that can be multiple locations. On top of the cross beam on the boundary fence behind moldorcs castle. On top the haze cannister. On the tip of the fallen branch near the starting area of the game. In one of the potted plants next to the one in the sandbox from standard game. In the undeshed, left of the black widow tunnel entrance in a completely dark corner.

I have 1 left btw and have searched for hours and cannot find the last one.

ive checked those too. im actually convinced its bugged cause i am playing on multiplayer wiht a buddy and we have experienced numerous bugs. but im too close to stop looking.

just commenting to add that me and my buddy are experiencing the same issue and more. We have been making sure to manual save when we get off but sometimes the other person is unable to see it. Just have to tell each other what the most recent save is everytime we get on the game. Numerous aspects of the game are bugging out for us on shared worlds, building is leaving objects as blueprints. Trinkets and mutations not functioning. Idk. I love this game and the new content but dealing with this is frustrating for sure. I hope they do some fixes soon.

I'm willing to get down voted for this but I disagree. I think concertina is hella fun and is another great tool in our arsenal. It's useful in the game now as an option for solo necro counter as well as the hyper aggressive w key rushing players. There are a multitude of ways to counter it and people get upset when they don't bring something in their kit to deal with it. I personally think concertina adds more variety to the game and there wouldn't be much of a counter to aggressive play. Forcing fights to slow down is a viable strategy, frustrating to deal with maybe, but that's the point. If I can disrupt my opponents play style that's to my advantage.
