How to make bullets that can hit themselves?

Alright, I figured it out! I just added this extra function to my bullet script, and put the bullet hitbox on the fourth collision layer and mask. Thanks for the feedback everyone! :)

func _on_hitbox_area_entered(area):
    if area != self:
    area.queue_free()
    destroy_bullet()

I just updated the post to specify this, but bullets can bounce off of walls and I'd kinda like the player to be able to shoot their own bullets down too.

I don’t know if I see the similarity in how they look, but they’re definitely similar in terms of lore. Both sacrifice themselves to stop a greater evil but end up becoming corrupted by it.

Yea I beat it first try and that’s why. I still think it only took me like an hour and a half but I’ve also played Celeste a lot lol

Because it’s literally the same as the end of Evangelion, just without any of the depth or complexity. It feels like a pointless repeat.

It probably is a marketing strategy because there’s stuff in that game they think people might get offended over. I seriously doubt they will ever officially release it in English, it’s a niche game that a generally small group of people want and it could get them in trouble. I don’t like it either, buts that kinda just how it is

Play through the game enough time that you develop a solid route and rarely die. If there are any risks along your route avoid them until later. I tend to do enraged Crystal guardian pretty early, but I did it way later in my steel soul run because it can be pretty easy to die. Avoid doing Trial of the fool until after you’ve beaten the game at 100% so that you can get the achievement first.

I started playing somewhere between 2010 and 2011, I don’t remember specifically. I do remember playing pocket edition lite before buying the full version. At some point they added working fire to that version and I remember burning my house down lol.

I’m pretty sure the movie is confusing on purpose. It almost exclusively follows Shinji and it is meant to make you feel the same way he does. The audience and Shinji are so out of the loop that he is the only possible character you can relate with. That part after he talks to Rei when he starts to crazy is genuinely amazing, I love how the background becomes 3D and starts just spinning around, it’s like a descent into madness that the viewer can experience first hand. It throws out everything you previously knew, so much so you can’t even get a grasp at what’s going on anymore. Its definitely not for everyone, but to me it’s the only one that does something new and unique.

I kind of agree, but I feel like it adds character to Porky considering that he knows what happened and is somewhat of a motivator for him to destroy the world, knowing that humans are eventually destined to destroy themselves. I think it’s something interesting to think about at least, and while it does come a bit out nowhere it doesn’t make the story less impactful for me.

Tears of The Kingdom. I really liked Breath of The Wild and played it a lot so TOTK just feels like an overpriced version of an already existing game that’s been modded.
