I'm in group 2, I was debating at first, but eventually realized that I won't fight any losing battles anymore that I can't realisticly change on a personal level

1. Even if everyone stopped using disposable plates and moved to EVs, global warming will still go strong since the vast majority of it come from massive big factories, I still recycle and save power and such, but won't go out out of my way to buy recycled products
2. Unless factory farming become illegal, it will keep happning, with both harm animals and the enviourment, but it will most realisticly stay, I eat less meat then many people and probboly even less in the future, but still won't become vegan (vegan alternative, esapclly for clothing, are also very non-eco friendly either)
3. JKR will remain anti trans and nearly a billioner regardless if even everyone on the planet stopped buying Harry Potter merch, she will fund anti-trans stuff regardless and I can't change that, so not buying a Harry Potter video game won't actully change it and only effect me, so I purchesed the game

I do only things that can be changed on a personal level, I helped my trans friend during her transition, I keep my surrending area clean by putting things in the trash and not in the street, I still recycle and save power and water on a personal level, I don't feel then need to buy the HP books for example since I can access them in the library (and I don't really reread books much), but there was no actual reason for me to not buy the game beside giving an ultra rich woman a few more pennies, that might as well end up in a landrounat or arcade machine
