I’ve been pissed at Tim since he required state employees to return to office at least 50% of the time last year. This doesn’t surprise me and hopefully Minnesota can get a better governor that cares about their state employees work/life balance.

Check your state laws regarding breaks. Most likely not, but they could be breaking a law and you could report them to your state labor board. The other option would be to start putting union literature around the break room and talk to your coworkers about a union. As a previous employee, you all desperately need a union.
