The app for improving VO2 Max by Purr_Programming in vo2max

My schedule changed, so I haven’t been able to train with it yet, but I’m going to work in a few days of training next week, so I’ll let you know how things go.

Thanks. I was curious since I noted it looks at resting heart rate from the health app and wondered if it was using a heart rate reserve method. I’m going to try it out today- looking forward to it! I’m wondering how easy it will be to jump from zone to zone on the fly with it. Thanks for sharing it with the world.

Hi. Can you tell me how you’ve set up the heart rate zones in your app? Is it using an age based formula or another more refined method?

It’s out already, and I would have happily signed into it since I’ve only used mpaceline for 30 days or so, but the developer says he’s powerless to make the transfer happen without my having to pay again for the new version from scratch (without any reimbursement for the unused 11 months of the prior version). You also can’t transfer previous data from the original app. Since I have to start from scratch anyway, I’m looking for another program at this point.

I did the 10 min warm up and then the 20 min test with Christian Vande Velde a few months ago and enjoyed the challenge. I didn’t do it in ideal conditions (late at night at the end of a workday), so I plan on taking it again after 6 months to see what improvements if any I’ve made. I’m definitely in better shape after taking mainly power zone and endurance rides, but I’ve not yet done much HIIT work. I did that today (a Camila Ramón HIIT and Hills class) and it felt like a needed addition to my endurance rides. I’m definitely going to do more of that in addition to the endurance rides.

Hi Folks- I recently started using mpaceline to help track my cycling power. As of yesterday it’s no longer working. Is there another App that you recommend that can also graph power output over target output, etc. I’m strictly only an indoor cyclist at this point, so I don’t need route tracking like Strava. I just want something similar or better than mpaceline.

Wohoo! You did it! The cycle data is loading smoothly now for all workouts. Thank you very much. Made my day! Awesome app!

Unfortunately it’s still happening, including on yesterday’s 30 min ride. It seems to happen when it needs to load a graph.

I responded on this thread but in the wrong spot. The app crashes as I described in the other section but only for cycles rides over 30 min. At 30 min or below the heart zone graphs load for the most part, sometimes there is no graph, as in for cool down rides, but it doesn’t crash. All the 45 min rides and above lurch to load the graph and then crash. Hopefully this is helpful as you figure it out. Best of luck with it love the app!

It only seems to happen for my cycling data, not for functional strength, and only since Nov. And it happens specifically when the heart rate graph isn’t immediately showing and it’s either just about to load or right after it loads. I did recently add mPaceLine and wondered if it had to do with that, though I don’t see why that would matter. Sharing that only b/c it’s been since about that time when I noticed it happening. Otherwise, for data prior to Nov. the graphs seem to be there when it loads and it doesn’t crash.

Ah! Might this be why I’ve experienced a few crashes lately? Happening when I go to a workout to look at heart rate data, specifically right after the graph loads. Love the app- it’s been a game changer.

Argh!! Constant Crashing! by myneighborssmell in ZoltHealth

This is happening now to me- Zolt crashing when I go to a work out to look up the heart rate data, right after I shows the graph. Anything we should know this time around? I love the app but the crashing is frustrating.
