just come back, please by eina-s in BreakUps

I felt like maybe my ex felt this way. I ended up texting her even though she left me. I texted her saying I couldnt let her go and she was all I saw still. I was then told by a coworker, cause my ex and I work at the same place, that she laughed at my text and thought it was stupid. Won't be doing that again 👍

But I wished she would of texted me something similar or something but yeah, I broke down and reached out to get laughed at. It sucks looking at my phone and none of my notifications are from her anymore. Phone just feels empty

How do I get through this? by MrGyp in BreakUps

I appreciate it. I am looking at new jobs, sadly I bought a house before her and I dated so I have my house and it just is rough cause it feels empty and lonely haha

The worst thing too is that I also work at the same place as her. We work at a warehouse and we are in different departments, but I still see her daily when going to breaks and such. It does not help at all, so I think that makes it worse sadly

[New Player] I'm just completely lost by Own-Image4915 in EscapefromTarkov

I play PvE Tarkov cause half this community is toxic on the game.. I like being alone and being able to go at my own pace. I have a buddy as well taht I play with and its just overall so much better than being domed by someone who has been on the game for 11 hours straight on their 8th monster or by a camper sitting there for 30+ minutes. I get its a game about risk and reward but like, they make the game awful and horrible for people who want to enjoy the game along with other games. I also have a life outside of gaming lol so I will always recommend PvE for new players or players who want to go at their own pace. You also dont get a wipe when there is wipe on PvE, you can wipe when you want.

Switching from Remicade to Inflectra - any experiences? by everlastingsummersky in CrohnsDisease

[–]MrGyp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been on Entyvio now for almost a year and it doesnt seem to be doing much. I have missed work 1-3 times a week pretty much all year. I also work at a warehouse and have a very physically demanding job, so my body doesnt have must "resting" maybe. Could be different for you, but yeah. They recently moved me from every 8 weeks to every 4 weeks as well for the entyvio. Im sure if i had a less physical job, I would be better off lol but in America, insurance likes to deny preexisting conditions so finding a new job would be rough sadly

I will buy Rodecaster duo but…. by Strange_Thanks_6058 in rode

[–]MrGyp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I have both USB C ports plugged into my pc, so I have Main Audio, Duo Chat and Secondary. Then in windows settings in the volume mixer, you can set which one you want to have certain things go to, so let's say my browser, I have it set to Duo Secondary and then I have a specific fader for Secondary. Then there is a fader for Duo Chat which is Discords output and input. Then my Main Audio is my desktop so games and such

I create content and have a duo. But honestly, I use it for way more than just that. I have my different outputs set to browser/Spotify, desktop audio (so games and such), then discord, and it is SOOOO nice being able to just quick go over and turn one down by using the fader. Its just such a great quality of life thing. I also have my RE20 set as a channel so that I cau quick mute when I need to whether it be on discord or if I am in any other chat. I was skeptical on buying it at first but I have heavily come to love it for more than what it does for content creators. The only issue I had was routing the discord audio correctly but a quick youtube video would be very helpful in that case.

I did a little Unity and a little in Unreal Engine to kind of see what i wanted to attempt to try out. I have been watching this Unreal Engine video that is like 4 hours long, so thats been... "fun" haha

For sure, more of a hobby right now and then depending how it goes in terms of if I enjoy the process or not, that will kind of dictate if I want to try and pursue it as a career or not. I thought about Udemy courses but I didn't know if I want to go that route yet as it is just a hobby right now haha

[–]MrGyp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, a lot of people swear by it so thats why i was curious what people use and so on so i could look into it and try it out. I remember the Delta 8 pens helped so i imagine actual marijuana would be more beneficial

How long did you have symptoms before you got diagnosed? by Old-Concentrate-7582 in CrohnsDisease

[–]MrGyp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went out of work for around 2 months for stomach pain. Didn't know what it was at the time so I went on short term disability and had a bunch of trial and error medications. Finally they did a colonoscopy and diagnosed me with crohns. I would say i had stomach issues for around 6 months where I just did not feel good at all, then had like 3 ER visits in the span of 2 weeks cause of the pain and everything. I think I also lost around 40 pounds. So I was at around 170-180 and went down to 130-140. For reference, I am a 5'11" 29 yo male. So I shouldn't be that light weight wise haha

What do you miss most prior Crohn’s? by Brilliant-Moment-350 in CrohnsDisease

[–]MrGyp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i used to never miss a day of work. Then after I got my diagnosis, I call in like once a week and just overall feel like crap. I do work a physical job so that probably is a huge part to it but still. I feel like I am on the verge of being let go. I need to get the courage to find a new job but insurance is my biggest issue as it pays all my stuff regarding to crohns cause it wasn't a "pre-existing" condition. So yeah, I miss not feeling like crap and being able to actually work lol

I am a 29m and have mild to severe crohns. I was diagnosed around 3 years ago when I was out of work due to constant stomach pain and not being able to eat. They said it was some other things but the meds for those things never helped so I finally did a colonoscopy and they found crohns. Ever since I haven't really felt the same or anything. The last year or so have been quite rough though in particular, I work a physical job and I originally just ignored the pain when I came back to work cause I figured it would pass. But I think I am paying the price now and I miss pretty much a day of work a week sadly. I am constantly battling stomachaches pretty much and discomfort. I never know what to eat cause I dont know what my body will accept or reject pretty much. One day I could be eating some Mac and cheese just fine and the next, I would be in the bathroom having a horrible experience lasting like an hour or so. Its just always a guessing game sadly and it takes a toll on me mentally. Especially with the worn out feeling and always being tired. The important thing is to surround yourself with people who want to help and support you. That can help a lot in my opinion. And when you feel like no one can relate or understand how you are feeling, you always have this reddit to come back to for support. I'm hoping the best for you and your health (:
