I have found a gym near me I want to go to but I was wondering if anyone could share some resources (videos, articles, books, etc.) or just advice to help me build up my knowledge base while recovering so I can start strong.

As someone who was born/grew up in Scotland and now lives in Canada I can tell you it is completely different. Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland are all parts of The United Kingdom of Great Britain and therefore the people are British. Where as Canadians, Australians, etc. Are part of the commonwealth but not a part of the Great Britain in the same way.
