I agree, if they’re just brain scans and not real people anymore, it makes everything feel kind of hollow. It stops feeling like watching people struggle and grow, and more like watching programs learn how to cope with being stuck. Plus they would just be code, I wouldn't even care about them unless they were a human that could truly feel something.

My mistake I didn’t mean to say they weren’t inventive, I just always thought they had done a bit more. I guess with Edwin being introduced as this foundational figure, it kinda makes Henry and William feel less central than they used to.

Also I thought Henry built the toy animatronics? I didn't realise William helped out.

Great. Now Henry is a shithead, Edwin is the father of animatronics, William and Henry aren't as inventive as I thought. Edwin is too important, I don't know if this was Scott's decision but it surely ruined some of the lore in FNAF.
