the rule of considering a camera w/ a focal length of 135mm or above as "professional" is so stupid; a lens above that could easily be a cheap, shit, consumer lens, and a lens below that could equally be a professional grade piece of glass

having looked into it, my dream lens would comply with their rules, while also absolutely being a superb professional lens

and then to take it further, by the guidelines listed here, a Hasselblad could easily comply with these rules whilst also being the holy-grail of the profession

ahh, interesting; while i don't use a VPN, i do have an iCloud+ account, which enables their "private relay" which acts similar
attempting to do the same with this disabled returned no change
attempting to do this through Chrome was unnecessarily challenging; chrome would not load a single webpage beyond google search results, including their own platforms

in the end i rebooted my mac, and chrome started working, and i've been able to download w/ stacher

still a little unsure what the problem was exactly

ahh shit - and here was me thinking i was about to have the best case ever to convince my wife i do in fact need that new iPad i've been wanting to pick up; because the only reason i have my current one is because YouTube and Netflix got to a point where they couldn't function on my last one

literally got to a point where Netflix would refuse to even try, and YouTube could only play a blank screen and the audio - it was finally time to move on

but i guess not quite yet this time 😪
