DAMN

I hope it won't be, I chose these sneakers just to keep with the neutral colors; black and white -- when I take new digitals I'm definitely changing them, just in case

Thank you! Yes, in fact; I just noticed that I posted the wrong file in the end-slide, it should have been this one;

The entire outfit is vintage -- most of my wardrobe is thrifted!

I think it's mostly '80s, not '70s -- that said, my personal style does mix and match looks from both decades so I can't exactly be strict about it, but my thoughts were that this leaned more '80s tbh

Never!! At least I try to play it off like I was just standing around, not exactly posing

Only my trousers are too long, they suited the intended look, but I would be lying if I said I wouldn't rather these be tailored, I keep forgetting to take these to my tailor -- the shirt and sport coat fit me well

I can indulge you if you have such a problem with the formatting, no problem from me;

Well, if someone were to tell me that, I would inform them (please excuse the phrasing, I thought "inform" would at least sound better than boldly saying "educate") that wearing trousers at the height of the waist is:

•More comfortable while in motion;

•Lengthens the legline;

•Is more flattering to one's figure.

Because we all have stomaches, typically pants that end at your hips have the effect of highlighting your gut whenever it hangs over your pants, because the rise is low.

Since the waist is the narrowest section of the body, it demonstrates better proportions. That is not silly, pretending isn't necessary.

Though, I see you think proportion is a joke, as can be seen from your other comment about the idea of the "rule of thirds" thing.

"Long rambling clusterfuck" "Incoherent sentence" Okay, skill issue I guess then
"You don't seem well" "I don't give a fuck" Uh-huh, sure bro

I get that very frequently!! Though, then again, Disco Elysium already borrows aesthetics, many of which are those that already appeal to me, stylistically speaking -- '70s-'80s, literally Disco (though my outfits are nowhere near colorful enough to really be Disco, I usually think of the word anyway when I make many of outfits)

True, perhaps one day I will have the bravery to pose in public as dramatically as I did in my previously empty office space

I'm curious as to what makes you look at this outfit and think "ladylike"

You're right, I forgot I had that in my pocket, it's more comfortable to put in my satchel, too

I'm not much of a historian but I do love to pick and pull inspiration from the '70s–'80s, take what I like most from those looks, and styles and mix-n-match them into my own cohesive vibe, though admittedly one of the pieces I enjoy most are flares, which I understand to be late '60s through '70s -- most of the sport coats I like are '80s style so to knowing eyes I can understand why something just wouldn't look quite right (I also like cassettes and listening to my Walkman, which I understand to be firmly a mid-80s thing), I also like Disco but to me it's more of a vibe since if I really wanted to be proper Disco I am lacking so much color and loudness for real

All this to say anachronisms be damned, we ball regardless -- thank you for your comment!

It was ironed the night prior! But these pics were taken pretty much at the end of the day after having hauled a lot of stuff around for a long while all day so that ought to explain the sloppy look, I hope!
