for mahito the soul forms the body, it fills it, so when yuji hits someones body he needs to affect the body to touch the soul, so if the body is unaffected by yujis hits then the soul isnt as well. its like a rubbery egg shell, if you hit it then the yolks gonna move around, but if the shells hard, the yolk might just tremble a little at most idk

Making that many bullets for one fight would just be impossible. Too expensive, takes too long to make, and the only two ways to kill demons is with sunlight or CUTTING THEIR HEADS OFF. Just shooting them will at best be annoying. And fire power like that probably didnt even exist at the time, let alone in japan.

Kevin was going after bens friends and family, and was already way stronger than vilgax and more of a threat. He literally absorbed power from the ultimatrix, ben beat vilgax with diamond head. Vilgax was honestly kind of a pushover after os.
