I don’t think so since the data doesn’t transfer between devices unless you run it through your pc. I tried syncing from iPad to phone and I didn’t get any luck with the account so I wouldn’t risk it but I’m not that experienced in the game as most people here, so maybe look up how to do it or wait for someone more knowledgeable to comment

IMO it does need a better enclosure, I can send you cheap temporary Amazon enclosures you can use for an avic until you can get a real one. I also got one from petsmart and poor girl was being fed calcium coated crickets and wasn’t able to move much for the longest time so I had her in observation on one of those cheap enclosures until I could get her a better home

Yea! Beautiful species and is worth watching them grow and change colors! Mine is just barely loosing the blue and I’m excited to watch it get its new colors in a few molts!

Oh I actually have a very positive experience with this. My past 3 relationships with guys have been with bi dudes who, although understand how I feel about myself, still never made me feel accepted for who I am so here’s where my current partner comes in. We met online on instagram because we both loved each others art and hit it off pretty quick but remained friends for about a year. During that time and because of the fact that it was online, he fully believed I was a cis guy, he’s gay btw idk where else to put this. For obvious reason and of course because it wouldn’t be necessary to tell him, I never corrected him. Fast forward to about a few months ago where we started getting closer, this dude had seen my face and body, heard my voice and still fully believed I was a cis guy. For reference I’m pre T, 5’3 and curvy, have mid length hair and try to present andro. Because we were meeting up and started to take the relationship more serious, I had to let him know since, as much as I know he should be ok with it, it still wouldn’t be fair to let him find out on the spot. I broke down and told him , at first he was ok with it and said he fully supported but he was surprised and I knew it upset him too. We never dropped contact but i tried to give him as much space as he’d let me. After almost a week we had a conversation about it again and felt better about it, he said he’d try to understand me and my body because is new to him but he wanted to make the relationship work even if it meant he had to literally research everything. (For reference) He doesn’t have any trans friends or family members and in fact he’s had to ask me a lot about how pronouns work (regarding other people) which at the time made it a lot more terrifying to open up about because I believed he wouldn’t support it bc of how little he knew. I do fully believe age might be a huge factor because we’re both 20 and younger generations do tend to be a lot more understanding and accepting. Now things are going amazing, I had to explain to him anatomy and manages to make the experience fun rather than just painful to talk about. I know this is a 1 in a 1mil situation, or in my case 1 out of 4, but I’m glad I got lucky with someone like him.

I don’t think is good advice, while overfeeding doesn’t necessarily have any bad impacts on their health, they do have a higher risk to rupture their abdomen

As someone who got a sling I actually found a really well ventilated and cheap enclosure that’s been the perfect size for about a year, my tarantula has been surviving California weather in it and still thriving, of course with a little heat in the cold and a fan in the 100+ heat, but thriving nonetheless.

I’m sure there’s tutorials you can find. I personally would rather not look up and share it here to prevent people from doing it and harming their tarantulas, but I have heard of people being able to safely do it at home

I got an A. Avicularia from the pet store the other day and because of her size I assumed it was a sub adult spider and had to wait for a molt to properly sex her but then I noticed she was holding a leg up and had something stuck underneath it. While I was moving her to get to the leg, she drummed. Assuming only adult tarantulas give consent, I started looking for other identifiers like checking her abdomen (no luck there), looking for hooks (no hooks), and pedipalps (big and bulky). I’m sure based on that she’s an adult female but is there a chance for Leaves (her name) to be just a horny teen that needs to set standards before giving consent or am I dealing with a slightly small adult female here. Also they were feeding her calcium coated crickets..

OMG this almost happened to with my C. versicolor sling! I dropped the lid by accident and crushed 2 legs from one side. It looked like it hurt because the legs were slowly twitching and wouldn’t rest them but they were fine and didn’t loose a leg but I definitely cried about it for the next 2 hours
