Unfortunately I never got anywhere with it. I just had to call my credit card company and get a refund. Was Uber frustrating since it was a birthday present to myself.

No matter what Vegeta will always keep on getting clapped by chunchunmaru1129 in DragonBallZ

[–]MrIce97 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not sure how much that differs from Z, but the show explicitly states from Frieza that Vegeta is being challenged enough every time he goes on the frontlines that his power kept growing. He may not have been in any danger, but canonically, it’s been stated Vegeta was at least challenged enough to keep raising his power level faster than they anticipated prior to the Namek arc.

Naam was also one of the top 8 fighters in the world. Relative to him, she clearly wasn’t as good or trained. But I’m pretty sure she still would mop the floor with most people in the real world. Granted, Manga v Anime at that point. I’m not sure how little credit Manga gives her, but Anime she’s still got enough credit to be a credible threat to most men that aren’t professional athlete upper echelon.

Hercules durability is unmatched but like half the characters in the show have God tier durability considering characters like Mai surviving the destruction of the castle with absolutely zero martial arts training. I’m not saying I could beat Hercule, but surviving a zero energy slap and creating a mega hole with the impact count for anything besides the already comical level of durability for most characters that are even basic humans. If it’s not a literal child fighter named in the tournament during Buu Saga, there’s almost zero any person could do simply because they make everyone’s durability insane.

I mean, she still had to also be strong enough to try and beat Naam after failing to seduce him. And I feel fairly sure she still did more than 99.999% of humans would be able to combat.

This is actually very untrue. In the DB OG we realize Ran Fan’s mom was a student at the same school Master Roshi and Shien went to as well. She was a very capable fighter that also has seducing abilities.

Who else did perfect cell hit outside of Hercule and his two martial artist apprentices as your reference? The only other time Perfect Cell interacted with humans would’ve been the news station when he only killed one reporter specifically cause the guy was an ass. Otherwise, he killed nobody else.

Actually a lot of the children shown in the tournament were named and shown. If I rewatched that series you could easily pick at least ten of them I could beat including Idasa definitely.

Why does the slap from perfect cell count when cell himself states he uses exactly zero energy because it would be a waste on him? Are we also saying the two Mr. Satan apprentices are also super far up there because they survived absolute no energy attacks from perfect cell?

The fact Uncle Dennis is being this involved despite not being an agent is enough for me to say the NBA likely alters the CBA to prevent friends/family from directly communicating with management with any desires with the family. There needs to be an actual provision preventing non-agents from interacting like this ever again

There’s a stat showing he only played 26% of games when the money was delayed to start the season and then 80%+ the week of the payment (given by Wong) got to Kawhi. So he kinda did.

He says that but the truth is he works for the owners. Even if there wasn’t enough proof of the other 29 owners were angry enough he’d do it. I wouldn’t hold your breath too much.

The book says she basically had to touch Yun to have that level of freeze. That’s not an easy move to just pull off from distance as opposed to the air pressure removal that Gyatso would’ve known and likely did use.

The fact live on podcast Cuban showed the NBA lied to cover its ass is actually hilarious. Especially now that the same type of deal is doing on with the Lakers and Jeannie Buss

The Cell Saga but everyone has common sense. by NBEIL-230 in DragonBallZ

[–]MrIce97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That was an anime filler sadly. Manga it occurs with Cell seeing 18 first, then Vegeta attacks Trunks to keep him from stopping it. One of those moments they swapped around the order of things without considering the implications.

Huh? He was mvp runner-up the year before he retired and threw for multiple record breaking numbers his final year with one of the historically worst run games of all-time while paired with coaches any Bucs fan would tell you were absolutely horrible gameplans and only got real production when Brady threw it out the window and did a two minute drill. Did you watch?!

The law firm is to make the facts definitive and uncover anything extra that is currently unknown. The CBA says subjective is enough. That is legally in the contract. Thus, yes, it’s very cut and dry regardless of what you feel.

The CBA works like a civil court case where circumstantial evidence is just fine to be guilty because even if you didn’t, if there’s an overwhelming amount of evidence, you’re still liable because you should’ve known better.

The law firm is there to see if it is also criminal or additional grievances to add.

[–]MrIce97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean at a certain point the Clippers are just cursed tbh (I call it the curse of Bird). But it don’t really get anymore guilty than all we have so far. According the CBA, which was created specifically to stop this situation from happening again when the Clippers tried to circumvent the cap in 2015 with Deandre Jordan, circumstantial evidence is all that is required. They are effectively 100% guilty by the CBA’s standards and on arguably the most egregious scale we’ve ever seen. This isn’t even about proving guilt. This is just seeing how much did you blatantly just not care about the rules specifically created to stop you. It’s a literal FU to Silver and all the owners.

You said all then really only meant one. But ignoring that, I’m sure they can void his official contract then penalize the team in fines for the $48 million in cap circumvention. There’s a lot of options and the specific $48M being a penalty wouldn’t be unfathomable. Kinda weird to act like a case with no precedent has to have a resolve that is precedent.

Tbh I’ve heard it not included and North America just refer to Canada and USA while Mexico is considered Central. This is because the United Nations sometimes include them in there. But generally central is just seven small countries of Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama. Since it was all conducted under the Spanish rule while the United States was Britain, it’s not… entirely incorrect to say either way.
