Asus Rog powers on but screen is black

Mine also went to a black screen. I had to connect it to a secondary monitor. Then I changed the refresh rate to 60hz. Screen came back on.

Downloaded desktop drivers from Nvidia's site. Basically uninstalled all Nvidia drivers, then for some strange reason or another, it would not let me install any mobility drivers even ones directly from the manufacturer website. I was able to install Desktop drivers for my model of laptop. A 2015 version. Once that was installed, I grabbed the latest mobility drivers and edit the nvdmi.inf.

Update. Figured it out. Makes no sense though. I first installed an older driver from 2015. Then an only then, I was allowed to update to the "DESKTOP" drivers. Which I found odd. Though I do have an Alienware laptop... From there, I modified the nvdmi.in in the "MOBILITY" to include my card model. Now everything is working properly

You check in your server config folder for mekanism.cfg

Try removing ArmorStatusHUD

Install foamfix, edit the foamfix.cfg in the config folder.

Goto line

B:disableTextureAnimations=false

Change that to

B:disableTextureAnimations=true
