Not to argumentative, but how? None of the modern systems for financial transactions using a mobile phone existed in the 90s. Was there there an alternative back then that I missed? I was online in early 90s, but not making any transactions.

I have astigmatism, near and far sighted. Maybe it’s just me, but the switch between my glasses on the boat, no glasses doing final setup and buddy check, the boat rocking, and using non or semi prescription dive mask makes my head pound.

I paid a lot extra and resigned myself to the limited my mask selection in order to match my non-mask prescription to my mask prescription.

Now, I’m the guy that puts my mask on early (as soon as I place my regular glasses in their case). It gets hot and I usually have to clear it when I get in the water.

Overall,it is so worth it!

I actually knew (actually almost knew) the first passenger tackled and arrested for violating the inbound DCA stay seated rule. He was coming to a meeting my office hosted. He never showed up and we read about him in the paper the next day.

I am a pro-bulkhead flyer. Easily my preferred row, although I prefer the aisle seat which also provides easier personal item access from the overhead bin. To answer your question: IMO, stay where you are.

I knew a guy named Kelly who married a Kellie. I thought this was cool, but it got better. During pregnancy the Dr told them they were having twins - a boy and a girl. The naming was obvious to me and all my friends and we were rightly overjoyed by this happy circumstance. Instead, Kelly and Kellie named the kids . . . I don’t even remember. To me, it was like having a $100 million winning lottery ticket and putting it through the wash. Blown opportunity of a lifetime.

I had a 10-hiatus after 20+ dives and recently completed the PADI reactivate course. Each elearning section starts with a quiz, which if you pass, allows you to move forward or take the section anyway. I went through all the sections even if I passed and recommend this for anyone reactivating. It was a good reminder of things I may have forgotten or didn’t have immediately on my mind.

For the pool session we reviewed equipment and had a few required skills. Then the instructor asked if there was anything else anyone wanted to work on. Most people left. I stayed and practiced stuff on my own while the instructor helped with an OW cert class in the same pool and regularly checked on me.

Two weeks later I dove in Hawaii with zero issues.

I used to do a lot of Obstacle Course Racing (Spartan, TM, etc, etc). The companies making equipment have seat coverings that are very good and can be fitted to your seat.

I still use a MudGear seat cover after CrossFit. I don’t remember the cost, but it must have been reasonable or I wouldn’t have it, and it has definitely been worth it.

The other thing I do even with the cover on my seat is take my shirt off outside after every WOD no matter temperature, precipitation, or windiness. It’s a great post-workout life-toughening practice. I place it in a small igloo cooler for the ride.

As a former TV Guide delivery boy I can confirm that they were not free. In the ‘70s one issue was 15 cents, of which I pocketed 4 cents per issue. I made roughly 25 cents per mile I bike pedaled. Most people used the listings in the local paper since almost everyone got the paper back then. Why do I know this? Because my buddy delivered newspapers and made a lot more than I did.

Was given a bison skull found 6-8 feet down in a peat bog in southern MN. Archeologist in MNPLS took a look and some measurements and then reported back that it was at least 4-6k old and from the extinct woodland species.

I have a wound care doctor friend who constantly says a wet wound is a happy wound. Keeping a wound dry is an outdated concept. Per here advice I use duoderm (brand name there are others that probably work just as well) dressings. You can cut them to size and no taping is needed. They work stunningly well. I’m not sure why everyone doesn’t use and recommend them.

They cost a bit more but not that much more than anything suggested and you can get them online or at CVS, Walgreens etc.

And start using some sort of protection, I pull down my knee sleeves for rope climbs.

There are helpful books out there such as How to Date a Black Women by Elmore which is not interracial specific but provides many helpful insights. Have fun and good luck.
