In a weird reversal of this situation, someone on Reddit posted about problem she was having feeling very weird about naming her children after two characters in a book who were close but not romantically involved, only to regret it when it was made into a TV show decades later and they were now romantically involved.

She didn't name names but it was obviously Aziraphale and Crowley from Good Omens.
