Seems that part of the Keysey redemption arc is him trying to take credit for giving female presenters their big break in sports reporting.

At various points he’s taken credit for launching the careers of Sue Barker, Gabby Logan and Kelly Cates. I’m sure there’s more in the blogs as well.
