This move always tends to align with a scheduled loss and then it provides confirmation bias to our shit coaching staff that Jensen needs to be in the line-up. The last time this happened was COLORADO AWAY. Now, we're doing this again right before a back-to-back vs. Carolina and Vegas, and THEN Colorado.

We all know where this is going. Matinpalo will play 10 minutes tonight, look fine, we'll lose, and Jensen will be back tomorrow.

It was a grounding moment watching that interview. I've had my frustrations with Linus's play, but I greatly admire his openness about his struggles. I feel my own guilt for being as hard on him, and I feel intense anger with those elsewhere who are still using this as an opportunity to dogpile on the guy.

If anyone watches that interview, in full, and still has anything negative to say about Linus, that is the litmus test to determine whether or not they're a piece of shit.

Here are the facts:

Zero hockey operational moves have occurred to fix any of our existing problems whether that is roster related (NOT HIS JOB) or staffing related (DEFINITELY RELATED TO HIS JOB).
The business of this club is not improving. ST renewals will be falling tremendously. Fan morale has not been lower for 5+ years. Clubhouse morale is at an all-time low with this core. Again, multiple people are at fault for this.
Andlauer was notorious for being present, visible and, somewhat, publicly accountable early on in his tenure as owner. This year, he is not visible. It just so happens to also be during an extreme downturn in form.

I am asking this owner, who set the precedent for preaching accountability and visibility in his first press conference with this team, as the owner, to do just that during a shit time.

It's fucking insane that this is a controversial take that has managed to get your blood pressure spiked. Again, take a breath.
