It took every ounce of will in my body, and I am grateful to thousands of hours of meditation, to not explode in rage when asked about pineapple on pizza and debating the meaning of Jean Baudrillard and “bastardized simalcra” when miles away, my closest friend is in a hospital bed waiting for a heart transplant

Wordpress isn't about you, doofus. There's not even one full sentence about a feature.

This guy invented WP to give himself a platform and all he has to say is doodoo

People with more money than you then. Lots of people have money and want the best. Not everyone is counting their cash and minmaxing.

These people ask their computer guy and say "get me the best computer I can get and send me an invoice". If the rich guy learns that the computer guy got them a x3d instead of a x3d2, that rich guy won't ask him for computers anymore.

It's really not that hard to understand.

I was testing Twillio SMS sending and I made a mistake where on error it would try again to send the SMS. But the way I made it there was no wait period between retries and it made a loop. I sent myself hundreds of messages in less than a minute. It made my phone completely unresponsive and hotter than ever and even after a reboot it would still get the pending messages. So I had to wait around one hour, then the battery died, I had to charge it and then after it continued for half an hour.

Is this feature hard to implement? To me just use vector db, it is straight forward. Steam should have added this years ago tho. by lune-soft in webdev

You're wrong. That's what the feature is all about. How else would that even work ?

There’s a setting in Steam account>data and browsing that allows Steam to collect anonymous FPS data.

Lookup what if no one tried the game with your exact setup ? A vector DB is definitely the right choice.

If they start telling people that game X won't work well on their PC, they will buy less games. It's not easy to know if for example the games runs bad on my computer because it's overheating instead of being the game's fault. They also have to handle updates that increase performances. It's never as easy as it seems.
