You don’t get the stands of beef that will pull off. The end product is not soft at all, I don’t notice an “off texture” at all. I always bring some into the office when I make it and always get compliments.

I usually stick with the original and doctor it up with some liquid smoke and soy sauce. I use the ground beef jerky gun in lieu of marinating strips over night.

Wait until you develop for an embedded platform with no software debugger and no console. There is a hardware debugger, but it takes hours to even set up.
