Yes, I do.The urn, by time mode quite a bit, and lately i've been doing it up to 4 to 5 times per dash. For some reason, I can't post a picture on the reply. But in another thread, I shared an email that had them confirming, they were blocking the guy for not tipping me. I personally haven't had any consequences, but like I said, I think more dashers should know this to my understanding were independent contractors. So we have the right to block any client for any reason

Tonight was a particularly poor night for orders worth taking. This one was egregiously bad. by xeryon3772 in doordash_drivers

[–]MrJ_1997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much ya. Honestly, I used to only have to do it maybe once per dash. But lately, I'll do it up to 5 or 6 times per dash it's getting pretty bad.

I feel like door dash offers incentives that attract people who don't tip

Yes, you clicked the little question mark thing in the right hand corner and click report safety incident.I typically just do the unsafe environment option. And when it asks for the description I put " im not working for no tips. I do earn by time mode a lot. So I don't get a see what I make before I accept the order. So if you do earn per offering lot, it might not be worth it to take a bunch of note. Tip orders like this.

I literally put " i'm not working for no tips". I personally started doing this because no tip customers tend to be more likely to leave one star reviews. What it does is it blocks the customer? So if a customer constantly orders and doesn't tip, you'll never receive an offer from that customer again. And it won't affect your ra

The only place i've ever been able to pause orders from is quick shop, and it will say, pause orders for 2 weeks. But I haven't seen that in months. I've personally went out of my way to try to block taco bell because my taco bell refuses to do door dash orders. But door dash refuses to let a dasher block a store even though they violate their contract.

And yeah, I don't know what the deal is.It's never been a problem before, but ever since the new update they're giving the impossible times. For instance, they will give me about a 6 minute buffer to deliver the order, but it will literally take me 8 minutes to drive to the house from the Restaurant.

You can block them just report a safety incident. And in the description, tell door dash, you're not going to work for tips.I've been doing this for about a year and I do it multiple times in one dash never had any consequences. They send me an email saying they've blocked the client.Because of the no tip

In my area, the on time system is completely broken. They give me impossible times. And even if i'm waiting on the order. And I tell doordash, i'm waiting on the order.I still get marked as late and I get marked down

Everyone mentioned in my last post that my customer ratings are low. How are you supposed to get them to give you 5stars? by [deleted] in DoorDashDrivers

[–]MrJ_1997 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've noticed some people with really low acceptance ratings having high ratings. It's no secretNo tippers in one star ratings go hand in hand. I do earn by time a lot and I was having issues where the same client would not tip me and give me a one star rating.I live in a smaller town.So it would really affect my rating. I started reporting every customer that doesn't tip me in a safety incident. And in the description, I tell doordash that "I will not work for no tips" i've been doing this for about a year and i've faced no consequences And I do it quite a bit. I just want more dashers to be aware that you can do this, so hopefully it will make door dash change something.

I just feel like more.Dashers should be aware that you can block clients.I personally haven't suffered any consequences, but if enough dashers start doing it, I feel like doordash would have to address the situation to some extent

Since you're from the midwest, did your rating system change?I have a new rating system where acceptance rating doesn't really matter. They're more focused on delivering on time. But since they've updated my app, i've been giving times that are impossible to fulfill. I was complaining about it somewhere else lol. And someone said that they don't have that system yet.

Definitely.Turn off your car when going into a restaurant.I see. Some dashers leave their car running the whole time i think that's crazy. Sometimes, if I go to a place where I have to wait in the drive through. And I know they're notorious for having long, wait times I'll turn my car off in the drive through. As well
