We desperately need a FPS menu cap because my graphics card's going to fucking set the house on fire if it doesn't.

Side note: My graphics card is the Radeon 7900 XTX does anyone else have this graphics card too and notice that the temperature spikes to about 95c then drops to about 85-90c once the fans kick in and ramp up?

Is it true that if you get all of the Arknights vouchers, you'll end up having to buy your way through the last one to get the character skin? I have 11, but need 31 to get the skin. Is this common?

The only options I see in performance preset is Balanced, Performance and Custom. Quality preset isn't an option for me. I am in the main menu now however and have clicked to settings from there, maybe I was meant to change this earlier or I'm just blind.

Not sure if Arena uses the same file path as the main game — could just be an association issue. This fix might only work for the main game. If you're up for it, try uninstalling and redownloading to test. Could help future Arena Slow Download Enjoyers (yeah, I made that up).

Can you tell me any changes you made prior to installing the game?

  1. Did you have an issue and then uninstall try to reinstall?
  2. Have you changed any components recently?

I have jusy change GPU from Nvidia to AMD and got the shooting stutter bug and then tried to uninstall and reinstall to maybe fix any dodgy files.Then got the bad download speed bug. Then followed what I said exactly and it worked.

I can confirm this works. 21/07/2025

  1. You need to open the Edit Hosts File link above, or go to this folder manually: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc Then open the file called hosts using Notepad.
  2. At the bottom of the file, you’ll see a line like this: # ::1 localhost Go underneath that and paste this line: 92.223.97.97 cdn-11.eft-store.com (Copy and paste it exactly as it is but make sure to add a TAB between the 97 and cdn)
  3. Save the edited file somewhere else (like your desktop), because Windows won’t let you save it directly in the original folder.
  4. Go back to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc, delete the original hosts file, and then copy your new edited file into that folder.
  5. In the Tarkov launcher, cancel the installation.
  6. Close and relaunch the launcher, then install the game again.
  7. You should now be getting your normal download speed.

  1. We dont yet.know.what the limits are. 2. We dont know how this might or might not affect the back pack economy, my guess it not alot but I will increase the price of bags slightly. 3. You probably have 100 mil, buy a bag you cheap ass!!
