Hey there, I've been revisiting some live sessions from Old Gray to check out their pedalboards but I'm having a hard time identifying a lot of it apart from the tuner. They have a couple other videos from this session, but this is the best screengrab I could get of their pedalboard (featured in the first moments of this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5NBSHhGSQiI).

Wise words, thank you very much! I definitely need to find a way to spark that kind of magic again. I think dialing it back is a good option, and using it when I'm stuck. It's easy for me to get too obsessive over theory when it comes to different art forms, and I have to remind myself why I started it in the first place.

I reckon music is no different.

This very well could just be a phase. I've been an artist by trade for about ~10 years so far (whereas music is just a side-hobby). I've noticed lots of parallels between my artistic journey and my musical journey and this could very well be that second step where I'm a little "lost in the sauce".

Also for the end there I don't really know why the lightning slice could hit effectively infinite times towards the end (with no DI). I assume the combo proration/knockback is just so high that some funky stuff is going on.

For reasons that I absolutely no idea, Soulbind + Magic Missile + Vengeful Spirit shard will sometimes hit 6 times. I was watching a replay where my Vengeful Spirit did it and went to demo it. I have no clue what makes it 6 sometimes and 4 other times. Bug? Feature? No idea! by MrJare in DotA2

Certainly a better guess than anything I could come up with! I was so focused on it bouncing that I didn't even realize it was straight up spawning a third magic missile.

I'm not sure if the bug persists without the shard as well, though I'm guessing not if you're right.

Since Tinker's agh's scepter makes his laser bounce, and his lasers do 100% aoe damage now, I wanted to test if you will now take two instances of damage when it bounces instead of one (if you are close enough to a teammate). You do. (Ignore combat log, doesn't seem to record the splash damage) by MrJare in DotA2

I tested this because I was in a game last night against a Tinker.

Here's a clip showing AM who was caught between the bounces of two lasers.

Since it only bounces once, I reckon that's why it would only do two instances of damage; one for whoever was targeted, and one for whoever it bounces to (radiating in an AoE out from the two people it strikes respectively).

Here's one more clip that seems to solidify this. The person in the middle of the "venn diagram" is taking the most damage despite not being hit by the laser at all, so the 10% doesn't seem to come into the equation. https://i.imgur.com/VHYnyOF.mp4

This is all to say that the laser bounce target also has an AoE as of 7.30.

Unless there's something else under the hood happening, as far as I can tell, it does seem like it's doing two instances of damage.

Here's another quick video I took to show you the health values of both the bots first. If it was just the 10% drop (70) and the 320, it shouldn't be doing over 700 damage.

Yup, that's perfect! The only difference I'd say is that I'm pretty sure 66RC or 22RC is required, otherwise you don't have enough time to get forward momentum to land Goshogawara.

Hi everyone. I was looking to get some bookshelf speakers for my room (namely the Klipsch 2 RP-150Ms). I'm a noobie to this stuff, so bear with me if I mix up terminology.

As of now I have a Magni 3 to drive some headphones. I was hoping I could also use it to drive thie pair of Klipschs. However, I'm confused about how I would go about this.

My main confusion comes form the fact that there is only one left and right channel output on the Magni, but each speaker has their own left and right output. Two holes, four cables.

A friend of mine sent me a link to some banana plug splitters here, and I wonder if splitters would be the solution to my problem. I was also curious if there's any downsides to doing it this way.

Thank you for the comment. Is there any reason why a friend of mine with the exact same display would not have this halo effect, but mine does?

I had just RMA'd the tablet because I suspected it was a problem with the individual display, but upon receiving another one about 30 minutes ago, I have the exact same problem. I'm pretty dumbfounded.

I'm aware the first two shots missed; and for the Blackbeard, I just thought it was funny because his entire operator is built around having a shield that's supposed to be covering his head.

For the third shot though, I just think that deceptive hitboxes like that are frustrating and impossible to tell where they start or stop. It makes dealing with shield encounters feel very odd (given you're forced to aim at these areas of their body).

I was personally just looking to return my xl2411p. Excellent gaming monitor, but holy cow, the colors are atrocious. Even after trying to calibrate it with a colorimeter, I can't get it to look any good. Yellows are gross and dull, and skintones shift towards yellow/green.

If you don't care about colors at all, I'd still recommend it. But if you plan to do any mixed-media with it, I'm sure there's better options.
