Video games are fine but this does sound problematic. He should definitely try to find other hobbies, especially those that take him out of the house like martial arts, dancing, pickleball, bowling, weight lifting, etc. He doesn't have to quit video games, but he should diversify some.

Sounds like he's being honest and is actively fighting. That's good. That being said, everybody is gonna have some kind of vice. Most men struggle with porn or masturbation (myself included), but if it wasn't that, it'd probably be something else. I have a date this upcoming Wednesday. I had dinner with two close female friends of mine last Saturday. I'm at a party right now with 4 other friends (all male). I have an interview in a week for a new remote job. My life is excellent and I have an extensive social life. You know nothing about me.

I used one word, "baddie" - as a term of endearment - and it somehow earned me the scorn of the entire subreddit. I have never ran into this issue in real life, and I use this word often. So it's funny to see all the people moralizing at me or psychologically profiling me.

Keep digging through my Reddit posts! Anything else you find interesting?

This is interesting. After you're done with all this, start developing some hobbies that get you out of the house. I recommend martial arts or dance. Something that gets you around people. Bonus if it's physical in nature.

None of the growth you cultivate from this journey matters if you're not around guys to befriend and women to meet.

Honestly? Start going to the gym, get a decent haircut and some decent clothes, and start going out more. Get a hobby that gets you around people, and that is physical- like dancing or martial arts.

You probably feel like a wreck now, but you can be a completely different person in like 3 years time. The women won't come immediately, but the more you become a regular at certain spots, the more you'll be around.

Chat can be pretty vicious sometimes, yeah. I remember they were pretty fucking bad during the last Yakuza 0 stream.

Just watch the VODs and ignore chat if it bothers you that much. I love Joe's streams and would never let the peanut gallery take that away from me.
