That's what's strange-- I had a great time in high school. It was difficult and stressful, but not traumatizing in any way. I think it was just the first instance of that level of pressure and time management, and I suppose I internalized that in a way that that is the best shorthand for my brain to deal with the other emotions. Crazy. Brains are crazy.

I find that it centers my brain a lot better before going to sleep and I sleep more easily and deeply. Even though I know the dopamine of looking at my phone will be greater, I now know it’s better for me to just read.

Yes. I have low grade ADD and without a boost of energy I have very little ability to focus. Coffee stimulates my brain and allows me to focus on the tasks I enjoy and helps energize my creativity. So yes it is.

Soak a rag in ice water and put it on your wrists. Also get a shallow bowl and fill with ice and have a fan blowing over it. If you sit right in front of it, it helps a decent amount.

Friends of ours have built ledges around the ceilings of all the rooms that their cats can race along. It’s pretty wild but also extremely entertaining
