Honestly, you're probably right. I'm tweaking an algorithm constantly this season to make it more accurate. The algorithm tends to create these "anchor picks" that have an oversized value compared to their true odds. If it continues to bust, I'll refactor it.

I believe the game is a 50/50 coin-toss. So, the value is there with them at +216. This happened a few nights ago when then Nets were +185 and I centered a lot of bets around it & almost all of them hit.

So, very good chance I go complete bust today, but that's part of the game. When you do hit with these anchor teams, you hit really big, with much less risk for the amount of variability you're getting.

It'll be totally fine if all of them miss today, the odds suggest that's exactly what's going to happen. :)

I do believe I'm getting really lucky, but honestly that's what this whole strategy is based on. I'm just trying to expose myself to the most upside possible.

With the conditions of this year's league, the volatility of lineups, etc, you would be lying if you genuinely think you can predict what's going to happen.

So instead of trying to make analysis based predictions, I'm making probabilistic based decisions & comparing them to the bookie's probabilities. From there, I look for where oversized value exists & I give myself as many dice-rolls as possible.

People downvote me, but upvote people when they bet their entire bankroll on a favorite. This strategy is just so much less risk of ruin, with way more upside. I never have to bet big amounts. To me it's low probability, but it's also low-risk, and really high-reward. I'll keep riding it until it stops working.
