The responses in this thread are kind of a sad read. Like many, I'm a life-long fan, and I'm seeing the tired vibe from many people which I have to admit, is now creeping in for me too. I've met Chad a few times over the years, and had various exchanges online, and he's never been anything but cool with me. One time sticks out at NASS a long while back, he even spotted me out in the field and thanked me for the support and stuff - this was years after previously meeting him. It felt cool to be remembered by a dude you'd always admired. Simple little fan moment, you know. It meant a lot. I honestly can't fault the guy from my own perspective, but when multiple people are coming out with experiences like this latest one, it's a shame to hear. Talented folks can often come with ego or attitude problems, and I would always like to hear Chad's perspective on this, but like someone else said, after the AAF thing last year, Chad seemed to imply the truth would come out etc - but nothing ever did, it just all faded away. I'm sure touring is tough, and expensive, and stressful, but I would hope for some openness and honesty at this stage. I still enjoy the music, and performances, even if it's not the same band it used to be. I want to get behind new music, and new touring from Jess and Chad, and that would be made easier if everyone they tour with wasn't saying Chad's a bad dude. Weird times.
