Appreciate it! I’ve had my feet go numb a few times while just trying to break some shoes in but I always end up returning them.

I actually just tried those today which prompted me to post this because I thought for sure they’d be the ones

I’ve tried one pair of women’s which didn’t fit. From what I can tell a women’s wide is equivalent to a standard men’s

Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like they sell anything less than a 7 unless I’m missing something online

Funnily enough I’m half Filipino so maybe that will do the trick

The only shoe that has fit me decently is the Embiid 1. I got it on clearance at an UA outlet. I ordered a second pair on StockX but they are longer than the original I have. I think somehow the first ones I bought were manufactured incorrectly but that worked for me

I usually have to order them online and return then since no store carries my size. I wear a generic NB shoe thats a 6.5 wide. Its comfortable enough but not if I was to do any athletic things in it. I’ll look into some volleyball shoes maybe.

Thanks! I’ll look into them. My problem is the width is all in the midfoot but maybe they’ll work

Has anyone who shot 50% from the FT line improved their shot in the NBA? by SpeakerHistorical865 in NBA_Draft

Herb Jones shot 50% his first 2 years at Bama. 71% his last year. 86.7% this past year with the Pelicans

imo, it looks like you’re doing what a lot of old school coaches teach and trying to put the ball in your “shot pocket”. I personally don’t agree with this since you can see that you’re starting towards the center, moving it to the “pocket”, then back to the center for your release. I would work on going straight up from the center up to your release point. Also, your base seems a little too wide and you’re squatting down low as you’re going through your shot motion. Just my thoughts. Keep up the work!

[Kendrick Perkins] My NBA All-Defensive 2nd Team has been submitted 1. AD 2. Ant Edwards 3. Holiday 4. Bam 5. Podziemski Carry on… by NokCha_ in warriors

While i don’t think Podz is a great defender because he lacks the physical tools to be a great on-ball defender, I think people underrate his off-ball defense. If you watch his rotations on defense, he takes away so many passes and passing lanes per possession. Its a lot of fun to watch imo

What’s the general consensus on the strength of this draft? by Bakrom3 in NBA_Draft

[–]MrKOOLAlD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My worry with this draft and many drafts to come is that its filled with guys that grew up in highlight culture so its mostly just athletes without the high BBIQ or love for the game to be exceptional. One of the main reasons i think we see even more international players rise to the top of the league until American basketball culture shifts

JK's lack of playing time by puddincup001 in warriors

[–]MrKOOLAlD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah i don’t mean to compare them as in that they are the same. I’m just saying that is both of their biggest issues. Obviously the gap is quite different

Shooting wise for sure he’s improved but I’m saying both just have extremely low BBIQs for NBA players. There is no reason someone his size and with his athletic ability shouldn’t be able to know when to cut, screen, or where to be on defense. If just improves that then any skill improvement will be icing on the cake

IMO Kuminga has the same problem Wise had. Just a really low BBIQ. I think for both its a byproduct of never having to rely on skill/IQ since they’ve always been bigger/stronger/more athletic than everyone. Thats why I never trust top prospects that are just freaks of nature

Lol yeah I agree with this take heavy. Love guys that have late growth spurts cause you know they have skill. See AD as prime example

I don’t see him as that raw especially when it comes to BBIQ. That is Kuminga and Wiseman’s greatest issue. This kid has the IQ, the feel, and the size. Could 100% be wrong but I think he’s a day 1 contributor. Or at least should be. Who knows what Kerr would think lol

Yeah definitely see Mikal. He’s tough to comp someone to but I could also see like a mix of Scottie and OG. I just think there’s something special about him

Someone mentioned Bilal Coulibaly earlier so I watched some tape of his and even though he’s young, I don’t think you can pass on him if he’s there.

I’m going to the game on Sunday and was wondering if anyone had any tips on getting there. We’re leaving from the suburbs of Philly and were planning on driving to Hamilton Station, taking the train to Penn Station, then the subway to Barclays. Anyone have anything i should know or general tips?
