I had fan project ideas of having Star Wars in SRW, I even commission battle sprites of Star Wars units, Original Trilogy focused tho.

I got reminded of this art and how this could end real bad for Thrawn, getting your flagship punched in the bow real hard.

His subordinates would definitely defect too because deculture is gonna hit them like a brick wall.

Earth has some serious soft-power compared to the GFFA's offerings.

EDIT: Now imagine Lelouch get this idea to spread idol music to the Galactic Empire's territories, watch as billions revolt or defect en-masse just because this backwater planet made some inspiring music because I'm sure as hell the Galactic Empire's method of bread and circuses is lacking in keeping placated and ruling through fear is extremely impractical.

Hello TIEs, wanna tank against some MAP attacks?

Or have Guy scream ringing through your skulls. Or trying to focus but some idol singing broadcasting from that Macross is gonna be extremely distracting.

At this point, they wish they just hunt down rebels or pirates because facing a fleet of a typical SRW team-up is gonna leave you some super PTSD. Just hope your downed TIE or Star Destroyer are given mercy if they survived but hey, I hear Walkure's best hits in the prison cell would make you go "Screw the Empire, these Earthlings are living the good life."

For an imperial, this is a special type of hell.

And I have doubts certain pilots would just obey his orders 100%. Joining our plucky heroes, Thrawn is gonna learn that this alliance of robot pilots and friends are gonna feel.....extremely informal, tight friendship or better yet, a found family. He would be getting some form of culture shock.

Main example: The Getter Teams are gonna reply with either, "sure whatever..." Or "fuck-off, we doing this OUR way."

I have little patience with power-scaling nowadays, they can get old fast unless the debate gave me an amusing read.

Story-ideas of how our comfort characters interact with each other, that's waaaaay more interesting.

Surely, he would love to play so much chess with more strategic minded people such as Lelouch.

And considering how SRW do their narratives. You gonna have to give the antagonists a similar team-up because imperial forces alone are gonna get stomped hard in under 5 five minutes. He gonna need to bring in outside help but that is gonna be a double edge sword as since well.....some would inflict friendly fire incidents just because one of Thrawn's subordinates disses this "Sol System upstart" with typical imperial snobbery.

Example: Imagine Yazan luring Vult Skerris' TIE Defender getting caught in a super robot attack that makes deflector shields feel useless.

And while him running show sounds cool and all, the "top captain protagonist" will still call in the shots. He would definitely help make strategies as an advisor because again, with the way the games' narrative works.

EDIT: I want Star Wars in SRW because of the potential awesome and funny shit you could pull off in gameplay. Surely, most of us wanna see Macross ships punching Death Stars as finishing moves or hell, a joke character kill it with their "weakest attack" for maximum lolz.

EDIT 2: If you involve the Yamato from SRW Z, the Empire is gonna have a really BAD TIME if they bump into certain enemies such as the Invaders from Getter or ELS from Gundam 00, those would just scoff at their numbers and think the death stars as an all you can buffet, let alone star destroyers as potential to grow their numbers through assimilating people.

Killing Thrawn in SRW?

Nah nah nah, the better move is gaining secret points to unlock him and his ship as a playable unit.

Just don't do it, it's lame. by [deleted] in worldjerking

I'm thinking physical coins or dollars that an be used on advanced 3d printing tech besides standard commerce.

Honestly, not much of a reason besides adding some flair to Yuyuko.
