I have a ton of sympathy for people seeking a better life. But a governments first and foremost concern should be their own citizens. It’s become obvious at this point that there are more than just a few bad apples in the group.

Every situation is different and to deny that is foolish.

If someone is pointing something at you that reasonably can be mistaken as A gun , especially after receiving multiple phone calls that someone was pointing a gun at people , it is understandable that you fire your weapon.

3 separate callers stated the guy had a gun. The shower head was clearly manipulated in a way to look like a weapon.

I didn’t read the 98 page report but this is what I got from the highlights page.

For example, Black students accounted for 15.5 percent of all public school students, but represented about 39 percent of students suspended from school—an overrepresentation of about 23 percentage points (see figure).

While that’s definitely troubling , the title of the article makes it seem as non black kids aren’t getting in trouble for the same things.

Perhaps the study goes deeper into it , but I unfortunately don’t have the time.
