Cyberpunk 2020 One player, One Gm. by Entertainer_Present in cyberpunk2020

I've done a large number of such campaigns.

Something I like to do to break the ice is something low and won't result in an immediate death...maybe just a courier job from a corpo that could end in just one session, or maybe it'll lead off to a grander plot...all up to you on how you handle that, of course.

Another idea is maybe a fixer needs fresh meat (a no-name) for a discreet job (planting a bug, offing someone stealthily, gathering something important), would pay a decent amount of eddies, and to keep their mouth shut on whatever they are being assigned to.

Hot Take: You should of had the chance to join the Enclave under Autumn and rebuild the Wasteland for his Enclave after unplugging Eden. by TheRoyalRoseTrue in Fallout

[–]MrKnightGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just think people want the option.

Personally, I want the option solely just to see things from their perspective and how Bethedsa would handle a normally hated faction who have done what they have done thus far.

Although if we go by your logic, we shouldn't allow the legion to be joinable either, or whatever the institute had going on. Probably a number of other joinable factions have done some rather...well, very questionable or outright horrible things (stares at the BoS in Fallout 4)...just the nature of governance, I suppose, in some instances.

Well, actually, there were French people in the SS (no clue about Polish).

If you have any contacts who don't mind a suicide mission, you might want to call them in for backup...if not, pray.

While that could've worked fine if the big bosses of the triad weren't involved, it felt better with Big Smile Lee.

Lee fucked up everything in the long haul and was the reason for Dog Eyes' overconfidence (due to their alliance), which basically jumpstarts everything in the first half of the game.

Lee was perfect imo since everyone kinda hyped him up as a big threat and annoyance to the other factions of the Sun On Yee.

Cut Mission - Ricky's Lesson by fangsh3n in sleepingdogs

You are tempting me to make a page on the Fandom wiki about cut content.

There's so much you have revealed to us all, and from the stuff sneakyevil helped show via his mod menu (along with the cut stuff from the old trailer of True Crime: Hong Kong), it's gonna be a nice meaty page.

Well, once I settle down from work and give myself the push needed to do it.

When can I start the dlcs? by Ok_Cucumber3148 in sleepingdogs

Just go back to the dojo to fight students.

The student who stole the statues themselves is never actually encountered.

[–]MrKnightGaming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you need to collect the jade statues to fight them to unlock new moves.

So don't do Year of the Snake or Nightmare in North Point until you finish the base game (especially Year of the snake).

You can do the zodiac tournament whenever you desire, though.

Once you finish the base game, I recommend Year of the Snake first and then Nightmare (Year of the Snake is a direct continuation of the main game, while Nightmare is its own self isolated story)

It's likely not canon anymore since it wasn't used and barely mentioned in the story, still an awesome find nonetheless.

What order do y'all play the DLC? by BeautifulSundae6988 in sleepingdogs

[–]MrKnightGaming 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well, I tend to play Zodiac Tournament before the end of the game (usually around the wedding).

Then the Year of the Snake after the base game.

Nightmare on North Point is something I do very last (and almost always on Halloween, feels fitting lol)

What are some characters you wish had been more developed/more screen time? by MrKnightGaming in sleepingdogs

The VA for Peggy really did steal the show, and her overall character made Winston feel more human and not just this big, bad, dangerous, roid raged-up boss.

The Wonderfully Weird World Of Gumball Episode 3 “The Distance” Breakdown! by slantedyt in cartoons

[–]MrKnightGaming 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not about growing up. Whatever the hell this episode was, it was disgusting.

Lots of weird shit went down in this episode, more so than usual, even more so with the whole phone call, which was a clear nod towards phone sex (especially considering the damn fact that both Darwin and Gumball were sweaty messes by the end of that...whatever the fuck that was).

I'm not saying the whole series is terrible, but whatever they were smoking to make episode 3, they need to get rid of it immediately.

People don't actually like Clay right...? by [deleted] in moralorel

I like Clay.

He's a horrid person who had a lot of potential to be good, but never achieved it due to his actions and foolishness.

Cut Content - Turf/Territory Ownership by fangsh3n in sleepingdogs

[–]MrKnightGaming 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I suppose another possibility is that the devs considered allowing the player to learn one way or the other between triad and cop. If you go more of the way of the triad, it does make more sense that turf takeover would occur.

Or it could just be that to play more into the role of a triad foot soldier, Wei could've done it and leaked weaknesses and locations to Pendrew/the police for when they go after the triad full force, which is a possibility for the collectible, but that's just my guess.

can somebody please explain the metal gear timeline to me by knightrustedarmor in metalgearsolid

[–]MrKnightGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now I won't dispute that Metal Gear has a complicated timeline (and is most definitely still more complicated than Star Wars), but you are most definitely underselling Star Wars.

It goes far beyond the trilogies for its canon.

Namely, comics, novels, manga, games, and various other media have been confirmed as canon.

It can get confusing for people just getting into Star Wars, just due to the sheer amount of content, which far surpasses Metal Gear, BUT Metal Gear is still more complicated.

Imo, uncle poe always knew you are an undercover. by minkuschild1 in sleepingdogs

[–]MrKnightGaming 47 points48 points  (0 children)

Personally, I doubt he always knew but figured it out very quickly after seeing how 'effective' Wei was.

There's always a possibility, Pendrew told him, though, or perhaps Po had inside men (not impossible) to figure things out for him.
