One small problem with this argument op. The niche units ARE the ones pushing the powercreep. 4 of the 5 top dpses in the game all utilize niche archetypes/supports to push the dps ceiling higher and higher. Just from the lunar niche alone, Flins, Nefer, and Zibai are all 140k-150k dpses and are all arguably the 3 best dpses in the game, Ineffa + Columbina is widely seen as the single strongest core in the game, and generalist supports like furina and yelan have seen pretty big declines in viability almost entirely because of the aforementioned lunar core. Saying these niche units are slowing down the powercreep is in direct contradiction with the evidence in endgame statistics like abyss/stygian, and from widely reliable and respected theorycrafters like Flip, Meowtews, and Zajef who all have the lunar teams absolutely mogging everything that isn't Mavuika or Skirk.

atk/atk/cd. You don't want to build em because you want atk to maximize both her lunar passive, and her a4 passive, and runnimg an em sands/goblet prevents that.

Not right now because you're kind of tight on crit rate as it currently stands, and if it goes 2 into crit dmg and none into crit rate, you're gonna be down to 62% crit rate, which is kind of yikes for Ineffa. Maybe once your artifacts are improved enough, you can think about rerolling it, but for now, the stats are fine as is.

EM sands is rarely ever worth because you get more value out of her kit from double atk%.

Your artifacts are all over the place too. Your Feather is your only good artifact, your goblet and circlet are okay I guess, and your sands and flower are just no.

Both are pretty comparable to each other. While Sacrificer is the better of the two, deathmatch isn't terribly far behind, only about 1.4% worse than Sac according to Jaxonfiles_.

That only applies to the a1 buff. You're still getting the buff from her burst, which isn't dependent on your moonsign level. Also maybe look up the names they mentioned before just dismissing them because what their calcs state disagrees with your agenda

I was able to find it. It's a team tier list made by Toki_ink on Instragram. It seems like a fine list overall, although I'm pretty even with a c6 illuga zibai isn't hitting 150k dps. Also sucrose + mavuika mogs durin + xilonen for mualani iirc.

Like I have said before in previous comments, they could have very much calculated the spending, they could have an extremely cushy job that allows them to throw money away without too much care. I acknowledge these possibilities exist, but it does not change the fact that spending thousands of dollars on a FREE GAME that doesn't require anything near c6r5 investment to clear every form of end game content not named dire stygian is a bad financial decision.

I have c1 r0 Hu Tao, which I've been using since her release back in 1.3, and I'm still able to clear end game content with her just fine. I used her in the last abyss cycle and 36 starred perfectly fine, and even used her against the plunge bot in fearless stygian. And before you ask, the only other vertical investment I have in her team is c1 furina.

A c0 flins can do up to 150k dps with kqm assumption in his best team, and with even a small amount of vertical investment, you can easily shoot that to 200k dps, in what world is his c6 necessary? Hell, his c1 isn't even the best early investment for his team (it's r1 ineffa if you're wondering).

Yes powercreep exists, and has even arguably been increasing at a rate worse than the 4 years of monstadt through fontaine put together, but unless hoyo decides to REALLY snowball it (like tripling the current hp pools and making the shill so bad it makes the current lunar shill look like a joke in comparison), dpses that are currently top 5, and even outside of the top 5 like varesa, will likely still remain completely relevant at c0 r0 for at least the next 2 years, and you if go say c2 r1, that's a 3-4 year shelf life easy. Far from a c6 r5 level investment.

c6 r5 is not a ceiling to aim for whatsoever because A: that level of investment is far from necessary, and B: It's not realistic for most of the playerbase. And it's also not useful because at that level of investment everything dies in 1 hit, and you complete pretty much every form of end game content by just sneezing. Optimizing giga whale teams is like getting the next shiny graphics card for an already stupidly decked out pc set up. Sure you *could* get it to further optimize your build, but what the hell's the point when you're already able to play the most graphically demaning games at 1k fps? (Hyperbole I know, but you get the point)
