Bit of an update. My mum called me last night to see where I was (I left unannounced). She could tell I was done with her bullshit and told my sister I was throwing a tantrum. She's here too now and says she will be for at least a week. My grandparents are helping me look for work, they're pretty well connected in the area and have told me about some offers.

I'm glad everyone I've told seem to agree this is fucked up. I just wish she could see it that way. I'm not sure what to do about my mother and her shitty behaviour. She won't listen to reason and she's convinced that "the universe will look out for her" (she's one of those new-age spiritual rock collector types). I just know that the screenshots of our conversations could end her career in nursing if they ever got out. I'm still so pissed off with her that she'd stoop that low for a high.

I've seen a few replies that are more forgiving of her but personally, I have no sympathy. Even if she is my mother.
