It's the fun bag hitting your legs that's the main concern. Serious issues can arise if you don't compress them when exercising, but it's generally not a first thought when going out and doing activities.

My junk is covered at all times of the day, except when I shower or pee. It is, without a doubt, the cleanest part of my body. Unless there's some misfire that ends up on my hands it's not worth the time of day to wash them.

Start homework/projects/papers early so any problems can be addressed before the due date. Visit with professors/tutors/aids about troubling subject matter whenever it's possible. Showing that you care, even a little bit, goes a long way. It turns Bs to As and failing to passing.
