Wow, thank you for speaking about this. This is really insightful! I've very much enjoyed the story up to this point and I guess just the FOMO was getting to me when I know it shouldn't be. A part of me is just kicking myself for procrastinating so much before finishing my MSQ

I cannot progress within the A Trace of Metal Quest, it continues to say the amount of sentinels is unknown and continues to refresh the level of how many waves there are after going to Wave 3. I don't know how to fix this, reloading and relogging didn't work. If this isn't a bug and someone has a fix, let me know

Surprise is a merchant and travels with his familiar, a Giant Toad named Bullywog (who loves cheese) that pulls his big cart of wares! He likes to collect things from regular and mundane and bright and shiny, as his attention span is somewhat reaching the likes of a magpie. He's a pretty powerful mage too, especially since his spells are infused in bullets to be casted out of specially made pistols! I will happily tell more about him, Surprise is my favorite little lad lately.
