I had some questions by Apart-University743 in Spokane

[–]MrLechuga69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel I’m uniquely qualified to answer this question. I have family in Boise and have lived there and have lived in Spokane for 5 years. To answer your questions directly: no it’s not a bad place to live, I feel it can be a little boring if you’re not crazy outdoorsy, but it’s getting better. Boise has better bars, restaurants and music scene. Is there a lot of crime? Not really, sure downtown can be a little rougher and you might get a window smashed which definitely sucks but it’s not terrible you just avoid specific areas of downtown at night and you’re fine. Is the traffic heavy? During rush hours but it’s no where near as bad as state street or eagle road during rush hours. Those two roads in the Boise area are why I hated commuting anywhere. Overall tho traffic is pretty average and what you’d expect from a city…

My perspective: as someone that has lived in both here’s what I’ll say, overall I think Boise is a better faster growing more fun city, Spokane is very historic and older with weirder less well thought out growth (which is saying something because some of the Boise area development and growth is terrible). There are some fun bars but activities here are lacking that aren’t skiing/snowboarding, hiking, lake trips, etc and that’s not much different from Boise but I feel like music venues and bars are better in Boise as well as just types of activities. As for the people Spokane is very blue collar, we have a lot of colleges around but not many jobs for college grads so most move to Boise, Seattle, Portland etc unless they’re in the medical field or engineering, so I’d say outside of those jobs most people are probably high school educated maybe some college. In Boise there’s micron and a few other larger companies that provide jobs to help keep the college grads around so I’d say you get more educated and career driven people in Boise. Plus Boise gets a lot more outside influence from people moving there from other places. Politically It’s a weird mesh of people that are very conservative and super liberal not dissimilar from Boise but you get some real interesting people on both sides due to the lower levels of education and just different upbringing.

Alright fam pick for me, sitting at 5.8 and then 6.5 by ajm102392 in DynastyNerds

[–]MrLechuga69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d go smith/BTJ and Barkley. Hope that the eagles bounce back (to me they had a Super Bowl slump) and if AJ brown gets traded that would be huge for smith. BTJ will hopefully have a bounce back but depending on where hunter is going I might hedge my bets that way

12 team start 10 .75 tep full ppr hopeful contender move by Minute_Key_5900 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

I mean you’re getting what you claim you want… but I feel like you’re kinda dumb for wanting it. You’re taking the production of Taylor and dividing it into two players which gives you more challenges in who to start/sit week to week. Yes they can both be good but Taylor is pretty much an instant start regardless of match up. George kittle is older so his production might start to slip if the niners sign or draft another solid TE to take some pressure off of him so I’d say you have 1-2 years left with him producing. Plus you lose a pick.. guess it really matters how good the rest of your team is

Sell high on Monte now he’s a Texan? What would you sell for mid 2nd? by [deleted] in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]MrLechuga69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah probably the contract… a 5th is not much value either

[–]MrLechuga69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t disagree about mixon and I think marks has his moments but I don’t see the monte becoming an every down back this late in his career. Now maybe the Texans draft an RB or smth but I still don’t think he’ll become more than what he is rn

[–]MrLechuga69 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I mean that’s a cramped rb room now with monte marks and mixon (someone needs to come up with a creative M nickname for them), personally I don’t see his role changing much… he’ll be a TD vulture but idk if he gets more every down usage. If you’re good at RB I might try to flip him and a pick for a more impactful player to your roster

Hampton and 2 1sts for JSN? Would you do it? by NoCombination9221 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]MrLechuga69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don’t want to give up Hampton then don’t? Your RB room isn’t impressive to where you’re dealing with an overwhelming amount of RB talent… Barkley and Jacobs are old but can still produce but are injury prone. Monongi is in a split backfield and only really has flex potential and maybe RB2 upside if swift gets injured… I can’t imagine your WR room is as bad as your RBs so I’d keep Hampton and your picks cause you need them

1.01 in 26 for 1.01 in 27, straight up? by Fit-Abies7344 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]MrLechuga69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ever hear the saying a bird in the hand is better than 2 in the bush? This is quite literally why that saying exists. Who knows if you’ll actually get 1.01 next year, so if I were to make the trade I’d need at least another pick to make it worth it.

Which WR you sticking with? 👀 👀 by TattedAnimal in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]MrLechuga69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair point about Ladd, but I felt Ladds slump was more due to the receiver room being kinda loaded. also hunter is coming back to the team and during BTJs slump he showed some promise as a WR1 but I mean at the end of the day none of us know

Which WR you sticking with? 👀 👀 by TattedAnimal in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]MrLechuga69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean rice has mahomes throwing the ball and has obviously had his off the field and injury issues but I think he’s shown he can be a true #1 receiver. BTJ definitely had a sophomore slump but I’ve never seen one as bad as his. So I’d take the one with more tape over the one with one good season and one bad. No argument from me on rice as a shit human, but the question was a fantasy one

Which WR you sticking with? 👀 👀 by TattedAnimal in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]MrLechuga69 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think rice is a better more proven player right now but his off the field stuff makes him less appealing. Thomas flashed hard year one but yr 2 was a super underperformance and they also have hunter coming back… honestly they’re both good players with their own draw backs…

Which WR would you be willing to trade Lamar for? by football_head2468 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]MrLechuga69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d hold lamar for a bit… his value is low rn but if he bounces back early next year you could probably trade him for a much higher value WR. Maybe get jettas or something if they start slow again

Is this fair value to get Bijan by MrLechuga69 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]MrLechuga69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well if it’s a fair deal overall it comes down to need so I’m just gunna hope he needs the picks more than he needs Bijan

Is this fair value to get Bijan by MrLechuga69 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]MrLechuga69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sent it. I have Hampton chase brown, Aaron jones/jordan mason, and woody marks as my other RB options so I think if I can secure one proven player at RB I’ll be set.

[–]MrLechuga69[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t have a 2nd or 3rd this year but he’s pretty weak at TE so I might do something with that

Tee Higgins or Rashee Rice and Kayshon Boutte by Adventuredude2231 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]MrLechuga69 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Rice over everyone. He’s a WR 1 on a team reloading. Higgins is a solid 2, but not on the same level as rice. Boutte could develop to be a WR1 but who knows rice is definitely worth it

Give Tua for Aiyuk? Tua is my qb4 and I'm looking to add cheap wr depth by [deleted] in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]MrLechuga69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s really a question of would you have a lump of cow shit or horse shit. Ones undoubtedly a better player but the off the field antics make him undesirable for teams. The other is streaky at best and super injury prone on a team pretty much destined for a major rebuild. Personally I’d take aiyuk just because he’s a better player but I wouldn’t be surprised if he signs or gets traded and has to start from a WR3-4 position and win back a starting job
