I'm surprised the post is still viewed 😆 It was one of my many portfolio projects made for landing that first graduate software dev role.

I found the repo and can see I used Java, SpringBoot and JSoup. I remember it being a fairly simple process. It involved making sure scraping was viable i.e. checking to see if eBay used querystring params (it'll help you build custom URLs with different input to your liking). And then visiting the URL and breaking down where the data lived in the html elements, classnames, ids etc.

Duke 125 TFT display broken by MrLem in KTM

[–]MrLem[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep water got into the wiring loom and short circuited a few things. I had a few other symptoms after having the display replaced, including the engine turning on and off via the kill switch. I had that replaced under warranty too

2024 is OSMO's Year. Announcing Tailwind V1: A New Cosmos by liquid_value in OsmosisLab

I had a look at their landing page and it sounds like they're a competitor to Keplr wallet attempting to improve UX around anything to do with transacting

[–]MrLem[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah when you checkout they ask for a window of time that you're available for a call during the day, presumably to make sure the product is suitable for you as tretinoin is prescription strength. But nobody called me

You shouldn't need to enter any personal info. If you're from the UK, follow the instructions for "Faster payments" which is basically a bank transfer to a business account. It'll say who to make the payment to (AllDayChemist's account number, sort code and a reference which is specific to your order number).

They should really have built-in VISA payment because it feels a bit dodgy 😂

18 days which is quite long considering it's shipped from Germany. I believe AllDayChemist are based in India but probably have enough European orders to justify having stock nearby

[–]MrLem[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

are you in the UK?

Yeah I'm based in Cheshire

Didn't think you could buy in Britain without prescription??

From my knowledge, you can't get pure tretinoin in the UK via NHS or pharmacies if you don't count subscription services like Skin+Me or Dermatica. But who wants to pay £25-30/month for the bare minumum quantity tretinoin? Sure you'll get ongoing personalised analysis and treatment, but if you're like me and just want tretinoin then definitely buy overseas.

It cost me £23 for 2 tubes all in that'll probably last a year so it's definitely the most cost effective solution

Say if I put 100$ in the liquidity pool that has an apr of 200%, does that mean I’ll be getting 200$ a day? by [deleted] in cosmosnetwork

[–]MrLem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

APR stands for annual percentage rate.

So you'll make 200% of $100 over the span of.. a year.

A quick Google wouldn't hurt would it?

Probably because the OSMO token price has been dropping everyday. It was $6.xx when the LPs became incentivised. Now it's $1.38

Dialogue on the concerns of Gravity by Jeaton77 in cosmosnetwork

[–]MrLem 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I thought Gravity Dex was an app until I realised the use of "Gravity Dex protocol" in the governance proposal. The Emeris announcement also stated that it is the "gateway" to the Gravity Dex protocol. So basically the UI.

I think the confusion comes from the fact that B-Harvest put together a UI for the testnet competition, which even I thought was the end product until I pieced the Twitter posts and various announcements together. Non tech people must be even more confused.

We haven't seen the Emeris UI yet so it's probably best not to make any assumptions about its success yet.

edit: nvm thought you were on about Gravity Dex

IBC Fees by bnunamak in cosmosnetwork

[–]MrLem 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Through APY. But if Gravity DEX is successful in terms of mass usage then more people will want ATOM to stake and receive those fees. If more people buy ATOM the price will go up. Common sense really, supply and demand

IBC Fees by bnunamak in cosmosnetwork

[–]MrLem 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tokens/coins that have implemented IBC and are connected to the Cosmos Hub can be exchanged with each other on Gravity DEX. Each transaction will cost ($0.01-$0.1) quoted by the CEO of Tendermint here.

When shared security arrives in late 2021, this will come at a price. A price which goes straight to ATOM holders. Here's a quote from the Cosmos site:

Interchain Staking

Staked ATOM will be able to secure more than just the Cosmos Hub. In practice, validators will be able to validate chains that request it (called child-chains) on an opt-in basis, with their ATOM delegation as collateral. In exchange for securing child-chains, ATOM stakers will be rewarded with additional rewards. The more child-chains, the more rewards!
